Driving down the motorway I started hearing loud knocking there was no oil pressure light or warning before it happened so I pulled over to the hard shoulder.
The oil was literally smoking like a steam engine and when we tried driving again on the hard shoulder after the knocking had seemingly stopped the oil pressure light came on, the knocking got much worse.
Luckily I had my friend with me to help me out.
At that point we deemed the engine pretty much a total loss so we decided to drive it as far as we can into to town so we could park it up and tow it the next day as we didn’t have a second towing iron on hand.
Next video we will be pulling the engine out to see what happened. We will then buy a replacement engine and most likely will need a new turbo after seeing how it was glowing red.
