Cold harbor supply made an adapter kit so you can run the same sacrificial lenses as a pvs14

Personal preference probably as everyone's eyes are different. I'm slightly colorblind in the green spectrum. So the lightest pigments of green I have a hard time seeing. Making green phos in low low light conditions harder for me to identify things than a white phos option.

The green is cheaper by a large margin than white phosphor in cost. Green phosphor is more likely to cause eye fatigue than white phosphor image intensifier tubes.

white phosphor is a different color of nightvision making it look more blue rather than green

There is bad chromatic aberration with the WP version, due to the lenses from what I hear.

I think he recommended green phosphor over white phosphor because of cost. Green costs substantially less than white phosphor does. Analog night vision is expensive to begin with so most folks looking to invest might be relieved to know green is more obtainable financially.

Green is cheaper than white.. adding Onyx Filters will make them(green) look white. I have 1 on my PVS14. It's very nice.
