Gemstones ka separate weight kerayain , oon wa weight per carats hota hai , jaisay Ruby , emerald , sapphire, diamond , zircon, aquamarine , turquoise, topaz waghaira different rates mein hotay Hain. Aur gold grams mein hota hai , gold ki purity karats mein aur Gems ka weight carats mein . There is a big difference between carats and karats , most of the people don't know this.

Hi Mamta. Very clear info with simple words. I travel to Dubai frequently for business purpose. Had a few questions. 1. Is it a compulsion to wear gold on yourself or can I carry it in my hand luggage? 2. For males as you mentioned the limit is 20gms, can I carry coins instead of gold jewelry? 3. What if there is a slight extra gold in a gold chain??? Would I have to pay customs? For example: allowance is 20gms & a chain bought is 25gms. Would I get into a any hassle?

1.Gold is no longer a good investment. 2.The sale purchase of gold jewellery is highly irregulated market barring a few companies. 3.The behaviour of jweller changes when you buy but when you sell same jwellery to him he want you to buy another jwellery and is reluctant to return the cash. 4.If jwellery belongs to other jweller he may refuse to take it. 4.Best is to buy minimal gold jewellery and never exchange,you loose lot of money. 5.Always buy 22 carat KDM jwellery,never go for 18 carat ,your neighbour will say it is brass jwellery.
