I just bought a fake J 200 and a martin D4 five on Temu and I spent $350 and I’m here to tell you unbelievable sound and you can get these guitars without Gibson on them and Martin on them they can even put your name instead of The name. Also, AliExpress sells them as well. I don’t play guitar. I bought him to hang on my wall for art, but a buddy of mine plays and he couldn’t believe the sound on those two acoustic guitars. I thought I would share that with you because you get a really well-made guitar, very cheap according to him the tuning knobs need to be replaced in the strings. The fret are really nice. It even has bone on the bridge that floored him anyways I give it an eight out of 10. Well he did I couldn’t tell you the difference difference I just know it’s beautiful.

My local music store has a Squier (I think?) Telecaster for 80 Euros, there were literally small pieces of wood sticking out the neck and the bottom part of the neck wasn't even attached to the body, it just kinda floated

Honestly, for $99, the build quality on it atleast looks solid. Not perfect, but it won’t fall apart in a couple years like some at that price range. I had a $35 Maestro Gibson branded (but not manufactured) guitar. It sounded amazing and actually way better than my $450+ acoustics. Price doesn’t always define quality. If you’re looking for a guitar on a budget, don’t shop online, go to a couple music stores, especially locally owned, and see what they have. You’d be surprised on what gems you can find.

I work at guitar center Mitchell guitars are made by guitar center they're like the signature select store brand guitar Like 9 times out of ten they're terrible but every now and then we unbox one that's great You just gotta play a bunch of them to find one that isn't garbage

I got a Mitchell for guitar center about 8 or 9 years ago never played that great I took it to my guy to fix the bridge and he also fixed my fretboard so my E wouldn’t rub and I could actually play the thing and now it’s a champion I bought it for like $120 6 years later gave it to my guy and for $32 he completely made it into a different guitar the other thing was always the necks though I’ve heard too, they typically come out with a neck so twisted it’s almost like wiping your ass with a 100 dollar bill, I came so close to throwing that Mitchell in the fire more then a couple times but even bad guitars I’ve had or wrote with shitty or not are just hard to part with I guess that’s just the musician in me but I don’t think I would have ever thought to just see if he could do anything with it and then boom!!! 🤯 that’s the benefit of having a guitar man you can count on every time he amazes me!!!!!! 🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸

You get what you pay for. Even if you buy a cheapy and hot rod it still will lack the fullness and quality sound of an expensive guitar. It had a lot to do with the wood it’s made out of. The neck and the fret board material as well as the bridge electronics etc.
