I have found in my testing with a decibel meter that in my bolt action suppressed cci suppressor are quieter than the Remington sub Sonics. Out of my m&p 22 though, the Remington is about 3-4 DB quieter. Both are perfectly comfortable and hearing safe with my suppressor. I haven't tried the cci quiet semi auto, but the regular cci quiets sound like a pellet gun, even in the semi auto. This video you can't really portray any good information without a decibel meter. The microphone on the camera makes them all sound equally loud.
@ineedmymodfixed5 жыл бұрын
@K Silver I don't know. I have a form 1 that looks just like his, but his looks like the 6 inch where mine is 8. I have probably 2 additional baffles over him. Mine is perfectly hearing safe I don't know about his, but 22 is one of the easiest rounds to suppress.

Pistol + suppressor + quiet ammo = easy to hear the elk bugle in the background - or was that a bow hunter tuning up for archery elk season? Either way, a great review. I've shot CCI's "Quiet 22" ammo at an indoor range (with hearing protection) and it WAS quiet; out of a Ruger American .22, it sounded like a CO2-powered pellet gun. Thought about joining the Discord, but 23 pages of "Terms of Service" - really? That's pretty discordant. Stay frosty. Cheers.

The only gun I have chambered in 22 is a Ruger Wrangler single action revolver. Before this afternoon, I only had two partial boxes of high velocity hollow points for it. Today, I lucked into 3 boxes of the CCI Quiet at WalMart. 50 round boxes for $3.84ea. The only other ammo in the store was one box of 28 gauge bird shot and one box of 12 gauge bird shot. At another wallyworld recently, I saw an adult-size 22LR bolt action rifle for less than 200 bucks. If its still there Imma grab it. On another note, I finished my Norinco shotgun project. I'll email a pic if'n ya want.
