​@@GreatWhiteCatI have the tx22 standard, not the compact. If I were to choose again I would try out their compact. Both have a decent aftermarket for parts upgrades from companies like Lakeline or TandemKross. It is a very affordable pistol, but you can definitely see the areas they cut down on quality to get it to that price point. I am still impressed with the results though at the range. I never thought I would ever buy a Taurus , and I probably won't buy any other, but their tx22 is a pretty good shooter.

I have the Ruger MK iv and the S&W victory style but it is older style and has a different takedown style. It is a great target gun but a little too long too concead carry.

What qualifies them as best? The title is click bait, and this offers no learning takeaway. Note: It's one ne thing to claim "the Browning pistol is more accurate", blah, blah... but another thing to show and prove this claim. In the English language, "best" or "superior" are qualifying words that require evidence to support the claim. I am lookilooking for evidence.

Dont buy a sig p22 I bought one a year ago and cant adjust the rear sites at all. I have to use the very bottom of the sites or the top of the barrel. Can't hit a Flippin thing my old browning buck mark is way suprior gun to the money I wasted on the sig period

Do not buy P22. I have one that repeatedly fired out of battery. Gunsmith sent it back to Walther for repair and when I next fired approximately 40 rounds it again fired out of battery and slide had a catastrophic crack. Don’t waste your money. Gunsmith did not see any repair that factory may have made. It’s again on its way back to Walther.
