Just noticed your Accord content. I've been documenting and making videos on fixing/converting things on my Accord for some time. There may be something I've made you can benefit from later. Each one of us has a unique journey and I look forward to seeing yours. Subscribed!

Dang good on you for jumping in the deep end so you and your boy can learn together. My boy and I did much the same back in 2013 and now he's building race buggies and running them out in the desert, even sponsored. In 1989, I started with a Lincoln Weldpac 180HD from Home Depot to rebuild a Jeep CJ8 Scrambler and my first welds were a lot like yours, but I'm stubborn and the welds got better after they got worse, ha ha. During Covid lockdowns, I learned to weld aluminum and built a all-aluminum camper shell which turned out great. I had many visitors stop and ask me if I was building a prop for a UFO KZbin movie! I just went ahead and told them yes. It took almost four years and I don't regret any of it. I hate sitting around so doing something is always better than being on a mass mind manipulator machine. I think we are going to need skills more than ever, soon enough.

That is awesome! Especially with your son! Mine turns 15 in November. I had him out in the garage with me when he was around 5 showing him parts and asking him to name them on my 86 C10 😂 he is a little gearhead now which makes me proud! I am a master Hyundai technician and level 1 mopar but my welds are definitely horrible 😂 but like you I too am stubborn and I am going to keep pushing myself! Thank you for the kind words! Is any of your builds on KZbin? I'm all about learning!

Great job brother! I have had my Jdm Integra sitting here for the last 5-6 years because I need to do some welding and custom fabrication. But like most I haven’t welded since highschool. I e already joined the Army, did 10 years and got injured and now I’m a 100% disabled veteran that can’t work. I’m bored out of my mind and I can’t afford to pay to have my car fixed. And I’ve wanted a go kart since I was a kid. Well I found a cheap go kart frame and I stripped it down to find that it’s cracked in the frame and I need to weld in the rear live axle mounts. I’m debating on getting that Titanium welder from HF too. I’m just scared that I won’t figure it out and I’ll just embarrass myself. I e gotten some brain damage from my time in the Army and I now struggle with a learning disability and I have Narcolepsy. But I have to re learn a lot of things I used to know. I’ve forgotten a lot of knowledge, friends and family too. But I just don’t have any friends that can help me when I need help lifting heavy stuff since I have a broken back and a Bent back tailbone. But Honestly I just might go give it a try. I’ll save up and get that welder and helmet and whatever else I need and go for it. I want to drive my car so bad. It’s a AWD Turbo H2B J front Integra. It’s been a dream since i lived in Japan back in 2006.

You let me know when you do and I will definitely watch it if you make videos of it! My son and I are going to make a shopping cart cart one day too lol thank you for the support bro!

Hey so your comment on 'my brain is working this week'. Have you ever talked to a doctor about depression? I spent 3 years where I thought my brain basically broke and no longer worked. Couldn't generate a thought, couldn't get motivated to do anything. I got treated for depression with just a daily pill. Made an enormous difference about a month after. If you feel like that might be the same for you, just ask a doctor. The medication for that is dirt cheap too.

Yo, this is the kindest comment I believe I've ever read since being on social media. So let me say thank you for this. My mental health has gotten dramatically better since I met my wife (she has a degree in psychology). My brain problems are coming from an illness I experienced starting in December of 2022. I blacked out at work and haven't been able to think properly since then. I'm about 98% sure it is "long covid" I forget basic words and cannot speak correctly. It's embarrassing honestly 😂 once again I thank you for your sincere comment!

Haha yeah i got one of those flux core welders to make some birdshit welds for a fence post on an automatic parking lot gate. It worked good enough but i don't know shit about welding, i'm more of a solder guy. I just hope it lasts, makes me kinda interested in tig for exhaust stuff tho
@TurbochargedTactics3 ай бұрын
It's been so long since I welded anything 😂😂 but I'm going to get use to it sooner or later 😂 yoooo I want a tig welder so bad so I can do those crazy intakes! Or like you said those cool exhaust... I think tig can do titanium right? I appreciate you watching!

I've actually got that same welder and I have put it to the test and built a flatbed truck with it and honestly I was very impressed with the little machine. Of course I have some bigger and more expensive machines as well since I have been doing this for many years now
@TurbochargedTactics2 ай бұрын
I appreciate this, comments like this helps me lol. I would like bigger more expensive rigs but I'm poor and still too new to welding lol. I really want to learn how to tig. I heard it's hard at first though.
