No brand eBay exhaust for $300… will it work?
Catless test pipe, oem resonator, and eBay catback, all 2.5” piping

sounda alot better than i expected, since you kept the stock resonator, but that sounds really good.

For sure. The stock resonator happens to be pretty flowing, but it eliminates a good chunk of rasp. It's not too bad for $300.

Thank you! I had a rev9 exhaust that was just slightly different. They honestly sound the same but this one might sound a little better having two mufflers.

i have same set up minus resonator. the newer style manifold also makes it sound better " deeper"

I got this same muffler on my 2.5 and kept the resonator but doesn't sound like this at all any tips?

You probably have the cat as well, you could try taking out either for more sound but I’d recommend leaving yours the way it is. Sounds much better toned down imo

where did you get the test pipe from and how did you tune out the o2 sensors

Not tuned out. Cut cat out and welded in piping

Did this throw a check engine light and if so is it something easily clearable (I have a black mk6 too and am honestly interested in doing the same thing 😭)

The exhaust itself doesn’t, but taking the catalytic converter out will.

Drone is there, cold starts are a tad loud but not bad.

Not too bad, but it’s also got motor mounts that cause a lot of vibration and noise so it’s hard to tell
