Use less fenugreek powder in the future. A little goes a long way. Too much leaves grainy bits that absorbs a lot of water. Or you can pre hydrate the fenugreek so that the mix is grain free.

@CheapLazyNaturals 3 жыл бұрын
Hi 😊 As I mention in the video you can substitute the herbs that I used for any other Ayurvedic herb and you can add extra herbs to the mixture too. I would just recommend that you start off by adding only 1/2 -1tsp of each herb that have to your mixture, then gradually increasing the more you use it, since you have never used them before.

Can I add egg and store it in refrigerator overnight before use?
@CheapLazyNaturals
@CheapLazyNaturals 3 жыл бұрын
I guess you can, personally I've never added it and don't really know anyone who has. Be careful though, because I think that it can be a bit of an overkill, depending on how much herbs and eggs you are use. Eggs help strengthen hair, and so does henna, fenugreek and amla, and if you put too many strengthening products on your hair, your hair can get overly strengthened and become brittle and prone to breaking. But if you really want to do it, please do some more research and see if there are others there that have used this combination before and see how they prepare it, how much of each ingredient they use....

@CheapLazyNaturals

I generally make just enough for one wash day. That would be the best option. Alternatively, you could make in batches and freeze them. Then unfreeze just enough for 1 wash day. Worst case, you can leave in the fridge for up to two weeks.

@CheapLazyNaturals
@CheapLazyNaturals 3 жыл бұрын
Hi, what type of strainer are you using, try to use a cheese cloth or a nut milk strainer. Maybe also add less herbs in the mixture. Maybe use a comb or brush to help remove the mixture out of your hair when you are rinsing it out.

@@kaylynboyd2035 You said it works like henna: the dye of henna thickens hair strands over time, cassia does not. I noted that extra bit of info because I have been using cassia for years but still have fragile strands. I am switching over to henna for this particular thickening/coating benefit. Maybe other followers are looking for the same benefit.

If I add a lot of henna, or only use henna (with no other herbs), and depending on how long I leave the mixture on my hair, and/or how well I rinse the mixture off my hair (sometimes I get quite lazy and I don't rinse the mixture off my hair that well, so some henna still remains on my hair), then I notice that my hair gets a a bit of reddish hue, but only under sunlight. But as you may see my hair is pretty dark so there is never a significant colour change in general. But if you are worried about the colour change, then either eliminate the henna completely and use the other herbs instead, or use little amounts of henna.
