I just did a henna treatment with your pro henna. My husband, who is from India, commented that it’s the first time since I’ve been using henna that it actually smelled like the henna that grew all over India! Your henna is LEGIT! ❤️❤️

Today is my hair day. I am sitting here watching this vid with an avocado, cactus leaf, coconut milk, honey mask in my hair. This is my second time using this mask . It softens, strengthens and cleans my strands. I agree that coconut milk is the biz. I also add coconut milk to my henna. Ayurveda can sometimes be drying to my strands. The coconut milk keeps them supple. I will try your first recipe next time. Thanks Curly. ✌🏾

Hello! Beautifull lady..I have been watching your channel for a few years now, life got a little busy and stop using the Ayurveda tips that you so kindly shared. I booked a hair color appt last night I wanted a change knowing that it would damage my hair. So this morning I just clicked on this video and saw your gorgeous natural hair color and reminded me how hard I had worked on my own hair with you guidance. When to my kitchen grabbed some coconut milk , honey, kalpi tone, aloe powder, fenugreek oil and deep conditioner. Apply all over my hair and omg my hair loves it. I call n CANCEL the hair appt. n decided to send you this message while my hair is enjoying this yummyness wrapped in a plastic bag and hair towel so Thank you.. Im forever grateful.. Angela

I participated in your growth challenge but neglected to take before pics. Although my hair normally grows regardless I do notice my strands are noticably thicker. My goal was to heal damage done by coloring which led to broken strands on one side, which led to thinning on one side. I can see progress but, again, no before/after pics. Sorry. Currently moving to moisturizing phase so this is right on time. I'll begin pics now. ☺

Any tips for creating a minimalist routine for first time moms … in order to combat postpartum hair shedding
@inesclaudia83903 жыл бұрын
You can do an overnight pre poo treatment with a homemade Ayurvedic hair oil (optional and you can also make a chébé oil- chébé helps with moisture and length retention, reduces breakage, increases thickness and helps with hair definition), then shampoo (once in a while you can use clays to detox your scalp), then rice water or onion juice ( they are amazing for postpartum hair shedding, alternatively you can use them as a prepoo treatment) then you can finish with a hair gloss (conventional deep conditioners + a powder of your choice). Lastly, styling you can use the LCO method. Remoisture day: you can spray a Ayurvedic hair tea, then apply a leave in conditioner, and finish with an oil or butter to seal the moisture. You should oil and massage your scalp at least 3 times per week. I hope this helps 😊

HI, I've been following your videos for years; the fenugreek tip really helped me moisturize my hair. Question about the recipes: 1) can you use dried hibiscus flowers instead of the powder? if so, would you make a tea and then combine? 2) are any of these recipes color safe?

Multitasking momma over there! I see the picture book under the blender. 😉 We’ve been at the beach, and I am trying to maintain some semblance of a hair routine for the kids, but they are fighting me. I’m dying just thinking about how drying the sun and saltwater might be affecting their hair. I’m on this coconut milk elixir upon arrival at home. Having said this, can you recommend a reasonable summer routine for those of us who are in the pool or ocean almost daily? (Swim caps are a major fight with the kids, and I’ve acquiesced to that battle.) Thanks, as always, for the information! 🥰
@LRH13 жыл бұрын
A trick i use is to apply actual hair conditioner into hair (reapply if necessary) then swim. By the time the sun hits the hair strands its deep conditioning the hair, this way the salt or chlorine with do limited to no damage.
@DrStout_onYT3 жыл бұрын
@@LRH1 I also do this! I explained why I do it to my kids and they thought it was brilliant. 😂 I was just wondering if there was something more I could do to help. Thanks for reinforcing my practice! 😉
@LRH13 жыл бұрын
@@DrStout_onYT - the only thing I would do now that i know about it is either add a oil that strengthens their hair. Choose one that adds growth properties, like dark castor oil, coconut, shea or even a little bit of cocoa butter. Ask your children what is their favorite scent & use the equivalent essential oil. Try doing this as Mommy & me project, lol. It will take the salt water & or chlorine longer to break the barrier. Mix this concoction into an oil reusable hairconditioner bottle. Best wishes

@inesclaudia83903 жыл бұрын
Alternatively, you can just blend the flowers with the rest and then strain the hair mask
@coriebarnes86803 жыл бұрын
If your hibiscus flowers are already in dried form, you can grind them in a coffee or herb grinder. It's best to grind 4 oz at a time to get the fine powder result. You can store the leftover powder in a glass jar for future use.
