I've always been against the mistreatment of animals but thought Vegan food would be to time consuming, expensive, not enjoyable. But these look so good I'm going to give a vegan diet a try.

Congrats on exploring a truly great way of eating. When I made the choice to go vegan I looked closely at what element might be the most challenging for me. For me, and many folks, it was cheese! So before I went in 100% I did a bunch of research online for subs. Like I checked out the highest rated vegan cheeses, slices, shreds, sauces etc. I learned how to make some good subs too. And after about a year, I found I was wanting it less and less. And fyi, most vegan cheeses are pretty high in oils (and consequently calories) thickeners etc. I now make a good saucy type that's generally on hand, make a med firm fermented type and purchase occasional slices when I want. I'm at year 4 now and love this way of eating. So I'd suggest you prepare and educate yourself on what your challenge things may be and get pro-active about finding happy subs for yourself. Happy eating friend!

@@sarahdee374 Thanks for the advice Sarah. I'm almost a week in now and it was fine for the first 3 days but has been a little tough today. I'm mostly eating salads and the pumpkin pasta dish that was on this vid. I also miss cheese 🤣. My biggest issue is with time as I'd eat alot of take away. I have prepared lunch but didn't today and struggled to find anything vegan.

@@halfbakedmunky5566 Thats not the case with me, I'm a chef and play sports so I'm used to red meat as the majority of my meal as it's quick and doesn't take much pre thought or time. It's going well so far but it's a big change.

@@daviddoran7705 there are a lot of great vegan cooks and chefs posting online and a lot have easy recipes, here are few of my favorites, in addition to Rose's: The Happy Pear, Buddhist Chef, Avant Garde Vegan, Edgy Veg, Monson Made This. It's almost endless. I find salads get old quickly. I need more satiating meals. I'll print a recipe (I'm an older person and do like hard copies-lol) and then weekly try to buy ingredients for one or two new recipes. If you can't find some ingredients locally between Amazon, IHerb and Vitacost I can almost always find what I need. Also Asian grocery stores often have some things. Enjoy your new adventure!

Most bean burgers are fine to be frozen, spread them out on a cookie sheet in the freezer overnight then throw them in a container/bag to fry up as needed. How do you grow green onions indoor?
@dalemills80523 жыл бұрын
When you cut your green onions from the store, leave about a half inch of white on the roots and either plant then in dirt or keep them in water that you change every day. The more sunlight they get the faster and greener they grow!!

It to be the critical police but pretty sure the microbes in the kimchi will be mostly killed off by the heating of it. If you can, just add it to the top of your burger, you could still sprinkle with sugar too like she did, and then you get the microbes you gut will love you for.
