Om my LORD!! My fave starch growing up Italian, and all so good!! The sweet ones really cried out for some cinnamon tho... 😘 And my fave way to eat these now, as a vegan, it's either with cherry tomato sugo crudo, or with Fresh Restaurant recipe's for their miso gravy, with mushrooms added😋😋 BTW... You can also do them tteokboki style, with tofu puffs... Also YUM!!

We eat Gnocchi with melted (vegan) butter and cinnamon & sugar. I pour the butter over the cooked Gnocchi without frying them first. We call it Schupfnudeln in southern Germany / northern Italy, but it's practically the same, just the shape is a little different. The children absolutely love it. For the grownups I fry smoked Tofu crispy, then add a small diced onion and fry that as well, then add the Gnocchi, let everything fry crispy and golden. In the end I add Sauerkraut and sugar (to balance out the sour taste of the Sauerkraut). It may sound strange, but it's really good, a true family favourite. I loved the idea with the coconut milk and the spinach, I'll give that a try.

You don't need these type of gnocchi to boil at all if you add more water to the pan and let it cook in the pan for like... 5-8 minutes, so it has more time to cook through. Anyway, really good recipes, you own a cafe/restaurant and it SHOWS! (comming from a former pressional cook)

You can see there are a lot of jump cuts in your video. I like honest ytubers not to say your not honest)) good dishes though they look yummy. Most cooking take time and to organise. This would probable take me 15 to 20 minutes with preparation included.

@@CheapLazyVegan yes I have watched your videos before. Its easy to pause a time just saying most dishes don't take 5 minutes. I follow recipes even online from Google search they never take the time they always say. Think in this world it is all a bit perfectionist most meals take time to prepear. This was not a dig at you it's just how it is for making meals time and organising to make a meal. Keep up the good work your vegan dishes do look tasty 👍
@Kuoncchi3 жыл бұрын
You can do that in 5 mins if you have the water boiled, chickpeas rinsed and pumpkin mash ready. Which she did. Its kind of a 10 minute deal honestly. These are very simple recipes Im sure you can pull it off in 10 minutes aswell. I would say mostly the idea of being around the pan and actually taking care of whats happening takes 5 minutes. Cause with the gnocchi you can just put them in boiling water for 2-3 mins and they should be done, also when you boil the water you dont necessarily need to be next to it.
