I don't understand how Kramnik thinks Hikaru cheats in 3:00 games with no increments, especially when Hikaru is moving super fast and up over a minute on the clock? How would that even work? You'd need a partner matching the game in real time, and the engine needs time to run the evaluation at a high level, and they'd have to tell you fast enough before you made a move... it seems unreasonable. Especially when Hikaru plays moves almost instantly.
@hydrahq8676

You can have an evaluation bar on the screen all the time so you would be cheating without any moves recommended, or just have an overlay showing best moves on the screen but not on the translation

@@swordyshieldif you are strong player you don't need to cheat, to see the top move or the evaluation etc, on every move. You can just do it once or twice in a game when the position is critical and you can just pretend to think for several seconds because it is critical position. And if a strong player do this kind of cheating online I don't know how it is even possible to prove or even suspect that he is cheating, unless he slips up with somehow and makes it obvious

I feel like if you were going to do this in reality you wouldn't do such a complicated code to minimise the vibrations, especially if you're a GM like Hans. I doubt Hans would need more information than something like "knight move", and wouldn't require the buzzer every move. Even a single buzzer signal might mean something useful, it could be there to say "spend more time on this move, this one is tricky".
