worked out for ni no kuni and Nintendo didn't seem to care. maybe try to avoid directly copying the idea... that'll keep the lawyers off you. palworld was described as pokemon with gun because it was, pokemon with guns...

For me biggest deal breaker is crafting. Just give me the item. That's why dragons dogma 2 exploration is pointless you kill a boss open a huge chest and what you get crafting material for a healing potion. BORING. Hope devs read this comment.
