Steel prices there are great. Here I get 6.5 cents a pound so $6.50 every 100 pounds.

Keeping a bucket just for your wiring might be easier in the end. Did you have to pay for the TV disposal? Be safe.

I’ve upgraded to a bucket system though I always forget the bucket 😅 Ewaste disposal is free at our transfer stations 🙂

Hey Buddy I like your videos. But. A bit to long. And the fact that you pass up on big metals item before light stick that don't have much weight to them. And always talking but those cord. Cutters. When you have the opportunity to get the heavier scrapping scrap and worried getting hands dirty lol

Bro why would I want my hands to get dirty? 🤔🤦‍♀️ If I’m at the pile I’ll grab easy poles at least. I don’t like filling up with BBQs and fridges because they take up a lot of space but aren’t that heavy. I’d prefer to cover more ground and possibly find better stuff. Im taking the piss when I shout out the cord cutters. I act like I’m not one but if you think about it, I am one 😆 Thanks for supporting the channel bro!

The engine block was a Holden red motor the number on the side is what cubic inch .As a bare block the use oh the hand trolley was a bit of over kill . They are not a very heavy block , Have lifted hundreds of them no problem

I thought the purpose of scrapping is to keep metal out of landfill and to make as much money doing it as you can. I feel you're to picky I would take all I could one stop if I filled up go dump and start over.

Yes that’s scrapping the way that you want to. I scrap the way that I want to 🙃 I spend about 15hrs scrapping a week. That includes filming and editing and my yard is 20-30 mins away. Unfortunately I don’t have all day to go back and forth to the yard. Thanks for supporting the channel LaCinda 🤙🤙

Ronald we have plenty of scrap in northern California,but the cost of gas is between 700 to 900 gallon and for me it wouldn't be worth to scrap anymore.it would be better to be a picker than a scraper with the price a fuel lately.

Good time on the fan. Just curious now that you did a few if you think it is worth it? I don't have access to as much material as you so I micro scrap everything. I take it one step further and get the copper ot of the motors although it probably isn't worth it if you get a decent price on motors.

I think it’s worth it. I’ll weigh them and get a better idea. I’ll probably sell as motors as I barely have enough time to scratch myself 🤙🤙

The motors are roughly 1kg each and take roughly 2mins. Currently @0.93cents a kilo, it’s a whisker off $28 an hour. Not bad 😁

I think so. They weigh just over a kg and take 2mins roughly at .93cents it’s about $27 an hour 😊

Yes I see it every time I go out on a scrap run. There’s plenty of reclaimed things in our house and I only go out on garbage day. The best things are usually snapped up on Sundays 🙂
