Check your locks or your container will rollover! Been a while since we worked a rollover with our good friend Jonas at Kustom Towing. His customer's driver rolled this container in Gardena, CA and the container completely came off the chassis. I'm not sure if all the locks were set, but in my experience this only happens when drivers do not double check the locks.
Alex arrived to assist Jonas and brought Big Flipper, our 75ton rotator. The chassis was first lifted and set back onto a tractor, then hauled away. From here, they rigged to the container to upright it and had a new chassis back up underneath it. You'll notice that while of course heavy wreckers can do this job, but rotators just make things so much more smooth and fast. For example, a rotator has many many feet of play and wiggle room to set the container back onto a chassis, where as with a fixed boom you are very limited and have to rely on the driver getting the chassis as close as possible to line up the locks.
I personally love the drone footage on this video and plan on using more and more of it. The high quality and aerial angle is just too cool. What do you guys think?

Pepe’s Towing equipment is top notch. Big Flipper is a brute. This long-nose Peterbilt is a beautiful truck, all spec’d out for these heavy recoveries. Keep on keeping on, Alex and crew.

I'm in intermodal. Our boss says we MUST LOCK and zip tie those locks. We pull speciality chassis and ISO HAZMAT tankers.. if your chassis eats ZipTies then use .041 stainless steel safety wire and twist it to keep the locks closed. It's a 1 lb spool in a blue cup at Harbor Freight. Always load 53' cans with the axles at the rear. Cause sometimes if they're in the California hole you can't pin the rear of the chassis to the box. If you can't pin the front. Drop the landing gear about 3" off the ground then pull the pin on the 5th wheel. Pull forward till the front bolster lifts up. Then pin the chassis. For long out of state runs I use Stainless steel zip ties. Thanks for all you all do Pepe's.

I echo the comment about drone footage. The video was overall excellent. I especially like the on person camera as it shows a more detailed picture of the work. I like the thought "the corner did it" but it doesn't quite cover the container separating from the chassis. Your videos far surprase the so called reality recovery shows. I guess technical vs. intertainment.

Is good. Great job Alex. When I was young I dislocated my rotator cup because I ran around the corner to fast and slipped and fell. Had my arm in a sling, had 2 small shackles tied to a rope up to a pulley set at 40 degrees. Had stay like that for 3 days.
