OMG! Yes, that was easier than I thought. Once I got the put down, pick up opposite thread color down pat, it went a long smoothly.

I just want to say thank you SO MUCH for this tutorial! I found it to be extremely helpful as a beginner! You helped me understand abbreviations and patterns better, instilled mindfulness regarding rows/stitch counts, and taught a few different techniques that were new to me! What really sets this apart from other tutorials is the editing. It’s incredibly concise. I greatly appreciate all the effort you put into the editing in particular. It makes the video accessible, which in turn has me coming back to quickly cherry pick techniques I need a refresher on. And of course, I have a couple cute hats now ;p

I absolutely love this!! Im so excited to be making more, but for my first I followed the same exact steps and the hat was too small for me, is it possible to increase the size using the same pattern in the video? (Like 2 increase rounds, then one sc round, 2 inc, 1 sc...)

you could make the first piece, the top of the hat, an extra round or two wider before you start working into the back loop that way it fits a bit looser.. you could also just try stretching it out by hand, or make another but with looser tension orrr steaming it so that the stitches loosen up a bit

Hey there I’m getting a little confused on round 31, you say SC 2, then increase, and SC 5 and increase is that correct? Thank you in advance
