That's so true! The value resorts are a great deal since we're usually out having fun in the parks, but still get to experience the Disney magic of staying on property 😊✨

@@sherrikersey6775 Brian and Kerry are the best 😊 This was our first time in a value resort together and we were very surprised with everything! 6 nights here was cheaper than 1 night at Aulani so we couldn’t pass it up! We hope to become DVC members someday! Aulani would be our resort of choice 😄

Kilwins (where you got the Oreos from v&q) is a national ice cream chain. Celebration is a cute town! Was sorta a Disney town! In answer to your comment, I read the couple of kingdom keepers books (not all either) in my late 50s/early 60s! Great books. Also, little hint - look for property tax amount (yearly) and car insurance and homeowners. It’s waaaay more than what I pay in Maryland, which is known to have high rates for those. (We are not only DVC but we own a condo on west coast of Florida, so I pay those bills! {and know politics, even if you dont pay much attention - know what they are heading towards}

@@sherrikersey6775 Those Oreos were tasty! Yes Celebration is such a nice little area, we love how close it is to Disney too. Yes those books are great and glad someone else has read them 🤭 Thanks for the info! Yes we heard from a friend who used to live in Florida say that insurance companies aren’t providing hurricane insurance. Not sure if it’s true or not. But yes, there is a lot of pros and cons to consider before we make our final decision on moving. Time will tell!

We also love packing our own liquid hand soap and *hate* carpet in hotel rooms. How do you feel about hotel shower curtains? 😅 would love to “meet” your dog, Callie if you introduce us to her on the videos sometime. (We have a cavapoo named Hazel.) I have to say, California is expensive because it’s one of the best places to live, period. There is nothing like the pacific coast and the lower humidity, perfect weather. When we visit, we notice a huge difference with California residents being in a better mood and much more sociable and community oriented than where we live (Midwest). Florida is cheaper because it’s less desirable. It’s incredibly humid, rains basically daily, and the people are a little more… individualistic, I guess you can say. Of course, these are blanket observations of the norms we notice. I would say living in California is really aspirational, and we hope to be able to move there or in the PNW someday. Not trying to talk you out of Florida if it’s your dream. (But… hurricanes & alligators!!🌀🐊) 😁💕 love you guys’ content. Thanks for always keeping it real. Can’t wait to hear your pov on Disney world food vs Disneyland.

We love our fur baby 🐶 And awww Hazel sounds lovely! We love a poodle mix. We do love California so much but it is also our dream to own a house one day and it just seems so much more obtainable in Florida. Being next to a Disney park is a must so that’s how we landed on Florida plus we have friends, family, other theme parks and all the cruises too!
