Checking Out 7 New Apps for Vision Pro

Are there any workflows you do where you prefer using the Vision Pro? Or just purely entertainment?

Only workflow is with a MacBook Pro, have not found a reasonable solo workflow

The new ultra wide display when connected to MacBook is great when I’m not at my normal desk. I’m traveling now and was just using it for a couple hours straight to get some work done where I needed to have 4-5 different windows open.

I LOVE this, I have an AR game folder on my iPad from before the AVP was even made and I love those games. You can play them with the iPad Camera and they are super fun. We need more of these games for table play with friends.

Agreed those types of games are a great fit for AVP.

All of these show potential but they are obviously tech demos by devs who are racing to be the first to a new platform. Man can you imagine when this platform matures? More users and more devs with more experience, I can't wait for this category of tech to reach the mainstream, even an ipad sized market for these vision headsets will be amazing.

Agreed I remember when an app where you could pour fake beer from your iPhone was super popular. How far we’ve come since then.

@himelstech I had that app lol, I also think we've come jaded with tech so nowadays it'd take a lot more to impress us, I mean the Vision pro is literally a peice of magical technology that's better than anything Apple has made but the average person is dismissing it and mocking it without even trying because they are so jaded.

No, it‘s not. But it is in an early adopter stage, use cases still must be refined. I use my vision pro daily since august and my main use cases are watching 3D movies and playing ps5 games using high bandwith ndi streaming. In short: You don‘t need many apps - I‘m using just two every day. I also really enjoyed the simply piano app, but there is not enough content yet.

@ It does seem like the hardware doesn’t cause as much fatigue as the average monitors-on-face experience.
