I remember where the phrase “Klaatu barada nikto” was originally used in the classic “The Day The Earth Stood Still”. Besides Lucas using the phrase for character names in Jedi as you note, my most favorite use of the phrase is in the Evil Dead movies. The way that Ash (Bruce Campbell) jumbles up the words in Army of Darkness specifically always makes me laugh! Klatuu barada …. Nickel! Necktie!…. Cough cough….. Love the channel and this episode - we’re excited to be able to come down for our 1st Food and Wine ever next week, and hope we’ll run into you again sometime like we did at Le Cellier during the Festival of the Holidays last year. 🙂👍

I love how that phrase has appeared in so many films, including, as you mentioned, the classic Army of Darkness! In terms of references, I think it's better used in Army of Darkness, but for some reason, my favorite one is from the vastly under appreciated Robin Williams' film "Toys."
