I think is voice is too high pitched. Ben Grimm, even before the accident but especially after, has a voice that sounds like a rock tumbler. Also it doesn't really matter what he looks like, for the most part he's gonna be CGI. He'll always be my number 1 though.

Because the F4 are so beloved a race swap will Cause arguing and people calling people racist. Just like Annabeth no one asked her to be black. But now she is and people who say the whole point is for her to be a blonde valley girl, who tried to show she’s not dumb is gone. But other characters like Nick Fury doesn’t matter what race he is. It’s just the context of the race swap. If it’s swapping for the sake of inclusion it’s bad but if it’s swapping because a better story can be told than sure.

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau = Doctor Doom ... despite being a bit older, Doom's face is mangled so makeup will make him younger. Plus the mask. And he's Danish, so near the right area for Latvia. And an amazing actor who could provide great gravitas to the role. Especially if it's an ongoing one. Finally his connection to GoT shows that he's capable of being a standout in a franchise property.

My pick for Ben Grimm is Paul Walter Hauser. I did look it up and he is Jewish descent. I believe it said his mother was Jewish. He’s got that tough lovable guy feel to me, and his range is amazing so he can do comedic timing but also the bravado that comes from someone who’s not afraid to throw down every once in awhile. He reminds me a lot of Michael Chiklis from FF back in 2005, and I think he has the right vibe. Praying to God some Marvel employee or Sarah Finn Casting employee is out scouring the Internet and looking at these comments. 😂

Rogen most likely won't be The Thing considering he said he won't be in the MCU. I hope Leiv Schreiber or Terry Crews plays The Thing while Dacre Montgomery gets Human Torch. Driver and Comer or Driver and Robbie I feel like they can do amazing with their chemistry. I would prefer Driver as Doctor Doom but I would be very interested in his Reed performance. With the She Thing and The Thing I can see them having both but one replaces the other if the other is busy

I think Jason Segal actually works pretty well. The dude has some great range. If your problem is that the one himym episode where he fights a guy wasn’t threatening enough, watch Windfall. He’s pretty darn intimidating in that one. Only problem is I’m not sure he would want to do it. If you listen to interviews about him talking about himym, he seems like he wouldn’t want to get tied up in another role he has to commit to for a long time.

To me Ben it's the toughest cast of the 4 suprisingly. They are all very complex characters but Ben really has to win people's hearts to work properly. I'm surprised the list didn't include Dacre Montgomery as Johnny and Emily Blunt as Sue. Dacre is my fan cast for Johnny and I don't have a particular choice for Reed or Sue, but Krasinski and Blunt are fine if they get it, if not that's fine too, and like you Ben is a difficulty for me, I can't seem to find someone I like as Ben. I don't think this movie will have Galactus or any of his heralds, I say this because I have a feeling the moment they bring in Galactus he will immediately overshadow Kang, and with the Multiverse Saga being very much Kangs thing it would feel like a disservice to the character to get to like right before his title movie (Kang Dynasty) and then already introduce his replacement. I do think Galactus and his heralds will be around though, but as a credits scene to Secret Wars, perhaps as a name-drop in the Marvels or another space based project, but I don't think we will physically see or hear Galactus until a credits scene for Secret Wars. I agree that we'll have Doom in this movie, but I don't think he'll be the main villain of the movie, though he'll likely be some form of antagonist, and I don't think we'll see him in his armor until the end of the movie, perhaps in a credits scene. If they don't just go straight to Molecule Man as is rumored, I could see someone like Dragon Man or Red Ghost or perhaps the Frightful Four or something as the main villain of this movie. Perhaps Mole Man as well, they were close to having him in Fant4stic, Tim Blake Nelson's character was intended to be him from what I understand, so perhaps they pay that off in the same way they paid off the Vulture villain thing from Tobey's Spider-Man 4 in Homecoming and the Sinister Six plans from Amazing Spider-Man in No Way Home. Fantastic Four has many more villains than Doom, and from what I understand fans want to see someone other than Doom as the main villain. I'd be interested to see what Lars Mikkelsen could do as Doom, but with him returning as Thrawn in Star Wars stuff that'll be kinda difficult, definitely someone with his vibes though would work as Doom. As far as other non-Fantastic Four characters appearing in the film, I could see Iceman and Firestar from the X-Men as well as Spider-Man showing up as classmates of Johnny's at University, perhaps an Inhuman character, maybe some sort of alien character, and then if Franklin and Valeria are around maybe someone to bring them into Young Avengers.

I think Glenn could’ve been an amazing Reed, he would bring an intense and sardonic vibe to the role, and I could totally buy that he’s a genius who’s only good because of the love he has for his family. Don’t know if Driver will be able to pull that off tbh, and the character needs to walk the fine line between hero and villain, plus come across as the smartest character in the Marvel universe. Seth playing himself as Ben Grimm would actually work. Ben as this washed up pilot that Reed vouches for would be kinda awesome. We also need him to be the comedic relief, and Seth is great at playing the butt of the joke without coming across as a push over. Also… Wouldn’t it be great to get a scene down the line of The Thing and Wong smoking a joint? I swear I’m not trying to be sarcastic, that would be hilarious.

Penn Badgley would make a great Reed (and his You co-star Elizabeth Lail would be an awesome Sue) though someone I also think could be both charismatic but still capture that awkward, nerdy energy is Lewis Pullman, aka Bob from Top Gun: Maverick. He might be young at 30 but he could definitely do it. Rudy Pankow absolutely needs to be Johnny, Emory Cohen would also make a great Ben, he’s Jewish and from NY but can be sweet, sensitive and rough altogether.

I could definitely see Penn Badgley, Elizabeth Lail & Rudy Pankow as Reed, Sue & Johnny. Rachnel Brosnahan I'm not sure about, but I think she could probably be a good Sue. I don't really see Lewis Pullman & Emory Cohen as Reed & Ben tho tbh.

I'd recommend watching The End of the Tour if you're interested in seeing Jason Segel in a different mode. Doesn't fall into the "I was in a street gang" energy that Ben Grimm needs, but it's a terrific performance nonetheless. One of my favourite films of that year.

This was interesting, I definitely don’t see Margot Robbie being Sue. Whoever they cast as Sue & Johnny have to be believable as siblings, 3-4year age gap. I also think Reed, Ben, and Viktor should be about 8-10 years older. The age gaps really bring out the family dynamic better than if all of them were about the same age. The 2005 movie’s casting was perfect for its time.
