I realized for myself to perfect the exercises its important to watch the videos over and over and do them with Peta in the beginning until you feel confident that you really fully understand the muscles that are being used so you can isolate them and you will have great results. She really is very detailed oriented in her descriptions because she really wants you to feel and focus on the muscles being used to make sure they are engaged as you do the exercises. I love it!! She couldn't make it any easier. The best program out there. :)

Yes I have to second this because this is SOOOOO important! Your finger placement can change everything and do more harm then good!! Study the videos and make sure your fingers are in the exact place she says!!!!! I was doing the forehead exercise in series 1 and I noticed that my forehead was starting to look worse on my left side and I rewatch the video and I realized that it was because I was placing my finger on my brow almost under it when it was supposed to be above the brow lol.

I am on my 2nd week of 150 of these a night. And I have to say that when I get to this point in each series, 2 so far, and it is already so fantastic. I look forward to doing it each night because it works so fast if you just do it. I was saying by the time I get to this point I have learned the exercises very well and doing 150 a night for two weeks really starts to show on me at this point. Thank you so much Peta - You really get what you put into it.

Good Morning Ms. Peta! I have been doing your face exercises for about three weeks now! I also purchased your laser lifter, which I love! I am 55 and keep searching for natural ways to help lift my saggy skin. I am starting to feel tightness in the muscles, so hopefully I will see the jowl and cheek area tightening. Wish I would have found this a long time ago! I didn't know if you have a video that puts together a full face exercise routine to use? Hi Peta. Thank you so much for making this available to us on you tube, it's so reassuring that you reply to people too! People say looks aren't important but they are! I am 35 years old and until I was 31 I looked like I was 17! Then I lost a close family member, had sun damage suddenly show up (quite bad for my age, i was an outdoor girl who never wore sunscreen) and became very I'll with a complex condition involving low oestrogen, adrenal gland problems and low dhea ( a hormone involved in youthfulness ) I now have terrible skin, I'm pale and saggy, with eye bags, acne and very slow healing skin, I have a long narrow face with not good bone structure so its all saggy, flat cheeks and nasolabial folds, do you know the old cartoon deputy dog? I feel like he looks! it's like there is no blood getting to the surface of my skin to nourish it. Also haven't been able to stop smoking yet, but I've cut down a lot. Anyway I'm really hoping that learning a facial routine and sticking to it will help. I'm thinking about having a private session with you but I'm not sure how to do Skype! And I'm in the UK. Are you still doing private sessions? Also do you know much about sun damage? My skin feels like its sort of dead in the top layers, like there's no blood getting through, when I moisturise and make an accidental crease, it makes a white line and takes a few moments for blood to return, it's weird, I'm wondering if you have much experience with people with sun damage or if exercises can help. Anyway I'm telling you all this because I've been through a lot and I'm finally starting to get help with my different problems, so its nice to tell you what's been going on for me and I hope that your videos and excersises can help me with feeling better about myself again. I feel like everything else in life feels harder when I don't feel good about the way I look, despite what people say about looks not being important! I think I owe it to myself to help myself look and feel better. You look amazing and it's so clear that it works from your pictures. Can I ask you how long it took you personally to start seeing results? Just so that I can get a realistic idea of what might happen ( I know were all different ) It's nice because you put these videos up for free so I know your not just trying to sell me something (even though you do sell some things) your prices are really reasonable, you genuinely want to share the gift you have experienced with the world, and I really respect that, thank you for making it so accessible, you are a beautiful person inside and out! Well I hope you don't mind that I've written you an essay! It's just nice to share this problem with someone as it's been really getting me down. Amie Morris Hi Amie, thanks for such a detailed message. I know it is hard to watch yourself changing, and then feeling like you cannot do anything about it, however, you will be surprised how amazing you will feel when you see even the slightest change on your face by doing the exercises. Firstly, the exercises will create the blood to flow again around your skin and face. This is the very first thing that starts to happen. Then you should get a better colour back in your face. Because I was experimenting with the exercises early on, i only started seeing results after I upped up the repetitions. Hi Peta and thanks for your reply. I was doing 50 to start with but now 150 every evening as part of a full face workout. my face seems to be feeling firmer which is a real result. I thought each workout was a 6 week programme (not 2 week) then changing the exercises. Sure I saw that in one of your videos. Maybe I'm doing this exercise too much? thank you so much for all your youtube videos and for taking the time to share.

Hi - have subscribed and am doing the exercises, trying to build up the reps each time. Could you please though explain a bit more about the lip movements in this exercise? I think I'm doing it properly but not sure.

+angela6722 - Hi Angela, with this exercise you need to be laying down, as will all of them I suggest that you practice the routines laying down. You just need to purse your lips then squeeze your cheek muscles back and forth. You will feel them moving over the cheek bone, it is quite a pleasant feeling.

+Fabulous 💋 - Fabulous, it should not be long now if you are feeling the firmness. It is different for everyone, but, if you are experiencing that firm feeling, just keep going and soon you should see things subtly changing. It doesn't happen dramatically or all at once.

To Abde Eldewini I am 61 years old. I have been doing face exercises since I was 22. I do not have one wrinkle on my face and people do not believe that I am 61. I owe it all to the exercises and eating right. What Peta is teaching is absolutely correct.

Hi Peta, I've been doing this exercise for 3 weeks and I am really glad with the results with my upper cheeks. It also helped me to fill the hollowness under my eye area. However I don't know why I realize that my mouth corners and chin area become more droopy. Maybe it is by the reason that I quit lower cheek exercises, since I've thought this exercise will also work for lower cheek area or maybe my upper cheeks become more plump but the lower cheek area has not developed so and a contrast occurred between upper and lower cheeks which makes me think my mouth area become more droopy. I would like to ask you an advice about how can I develop the both areas together and eliminate the droopy look around my mouth. many many thanks Peta!

Peta -- Will this exercise help address jowls? I'm 62, pretty young looking except for a turkey neck and the start of jowls. I'm on my first pass through your exercise series (in the last 2 weeks of the 150 reps in #2) and still struggling to really learn this exercise. It's a hard one to master, as you said. I love your routines and am sticking to them faithfully. Mostly my face just looks fresher but hope for more as I go along. Thank you so much! (BTW I'm an expatriate Aussie, so I love that you're an Aussie too.)

Hi Fellow Aussie! Jane, you need to lay down when doing this exercise, as with all of the exercises, it is best when you lay down. Yes, they do take time to master but once you get it you are on your way.

Thank you Peta! I do watch your videos for each series over and over throughout the six weeks of doing that series. I do "listen to what Miss Peta says" but find it takes me quite a while to "get" some exercises. And sometimes I think I'm doing it correctly but notice new wrinkles forming (I have a 10x spot mirror) so I go back to the video and realize I didn't quite have it. It's a great program and I really appreciate that you have put this out for free.

Hi Peta, my eyelids have always been very heavy and now as I've aged lay heavily on top of my lashes drooping them even more. Will these exercises actually help lift my eyelid off of my lashes and open up my eye? It's this or surgery.

I thought maybe the cheek plumper exercise would be good only I over did that one 4 months ago as I pulled a muscle in my jaw which was quite painful and was left with a swollen jaw for a while. +Ellen Higgins - Hi Ellen, thanks for your comments. You are toning your face, just like you would tone your body if you were at the gym. So your face is going to tone to the shape of your skull. You will need to do the exercises stronger and slower to create a fuller look and possibly not so many of them, just like you would if you were lifting weights in the gym to create bulk. Are you doing the full face routine?

Thea Garcia lol Theresa, I think I am doing all of that! Mainly pressing them together, and which ever way my lips go, it is still the same. Press them together, and if you feel the muscles moving over your bones, you are doing it correctly. You should lay down for this exercise as you can feel it more. Hope that helps!

Being a beginner of the programme you need to read the information on HOW to practice the program safely. You also need to watch my coaching videos to learn the dos and donts of the programme. This exercise is in Series 2. In front of all of the EAWM Series there are in capital letters that say DO NOT CHANGE THE EXERCISES OR ADD TO THE EAWM ROUTINES. I also have done a multitude of videos that explain why. You need to watch those before starting the series. Hope that helps!

Hi Peta - I do this exercise a lot and can really feel the muscles moving - I do 150 reps. i'm a bit concerned though that this exercise might INCREASE wrinkles running down the sides of the face. Or will it improve them? Thank you.

Hi Angela, I create exercises that decrease wrinkles not increase wrinkles. If they increase wrinkles I would not offer them on the channel, and I myself most certainly would not even do them! You need to do this exercise laying down as with all of the exercises. You will feel it moving more then. Also, you need to follow the programme exactly and I instruct it. You say you are doing 150 reps, are you doing level 1 50 reps 2 weeks, and level 2 100 reps 2 weeks before the 150 that you are only supposed to do for 2 weeks?

+Clement Blackman - Hi Clement. What I would suggest is that you create your own exercise routine if you wish to change this one. The reason is, I will be doing more EAWM Series, and, if you change the exercise, and then want to do the new series, you will be doing the same exercise for longer than 6 weeks. HI Peta! I have been doing this exercise for 4 weeks now. I have been experiencing serious TMJ and I think this is the exercise responsible for it. Perhaps I am not doing it right. Have you had any other similar comments?

Hi Lori, yes, it could be the exercise doing it. Sometimes my jaw clicks too, but if it starts too much, you have to just do them as light as possible and try using the muscles more and not the jaw. If its too much, you may have to stop it.

Hello Peta, How is this exercise different from "Face Exercise - Use this Chin Lifter Face Exercise also Doubles to Lift Sagging Jowls Permanently!" published April 24, 2015? Do they do the same thing? The only slight difference I notice is that in this one you lift the corners of the mouth and in the other one you push out the lower lip. Which one is more effective for jowls, chins and sagging corners of mouth? Maria

Thank you for this very simple exercise that offers so much. Question: When you say that if we do the same routine for an extended period of time they get stale,.therefore we need to change to another, do you mean that the muscles no longer respond OR do WE simply get stale doing the same ones over and over? I have been doing your blue hands exercise and sometimes the purple hands for certain ones. I have found that the one with the hands under the chin area and the tongue curled under and pressing against the teeth was causing wrinkles on each .side of my mouth that I hadn't noticed before and also making my chin look like it was curling upward. So I stopped that one and started another, the one for the saggy jowls. I plan to go back to the series of exercises for the neck and jowls that one of your clients wrote you about. Variety is definitely a good idea. Let ne know if this all made sense to you.

Stella Mauldin Hi Stella, lol, yes you made sense to me. First question - you need to change the exercises because the muscles get used to the exercises and do not respond as fast to them if you keep doing them all the time. The muscles are so small on our face, so you need to change them. And, yes, also we get bored doing them. Second question - if you have been forming wrinkles around your mouth while doing the chin exercise, you have not been doing it correctly. You possibly are opening your mouth and using your cheek muscles too much, you need to keep your cheek muscles at rest and not open your mouth. I would suggest you go back to the video and watch it again with that in mind, and I think you will find this is what you are doing. Make sure, that if you do jowl exercises, do only one exercise for six week, not a number of them, else, you will get more wrinkles. Hi Peta, Thanks and a terrific job once again. One question, is this also effective for fine marionette lines? If not, do you have any? As I found none in the playlist. Also, if I have this as part of my routine, should I also add another exercise to lift the corners of my lips/mouth? BTW is there any tip you can share for enlarged pores on cheeks and forehead. +Ayesha Siddiqui - Hi Ayesha, firstly, you might find the more facial exercises you do as a full face routine, that the enlarged pores will shrink. This has happened to me other than my nose. This exercise that you are referring to will help the overall toning of your cheeks and nasolabail folds.

Sorry Petra, still need to clarify lip motion. So the actual repetitious action s is to strongly roll the lips in each time or is it to roll in , stay there and try with each repetition to purse out OR is it all :pursuing: action going inward. I think it might help if you show what you are doing with your lips with your mouth open so we can see clearly the action.

I am more comfortable doing the excersizes while sitting. Can I do the other excersizes in this series while sitting and then lay down for the check toner only? I will be doing them all straight after eachother in the order that you suggest.

About the lip movement. Is it pressing lips together or pressing sides towards the center or pulling them towards outer corners?

I don't know whether this is just a matter of the duration of time put into it, (like I've been doing your exercises now for a little over a year) but I see in your second picture when your fifty at the end of the above video, that I still have the same issue I see in the picture that fold on the right side of the chin, lower cheek. What exercise targets that? Or is it a matter of exercising it a few years?

Peta, I may have answered my own question. I'm thinking the exercise you are doing in the video is probably the one I need to work on. I became more regimented in my routine and follow the series and levels you recommended. If I may ask, can I add the above exercise in addition to the routine i started again which is series 1 level 1? I really want to get this area... grrrr :)

Hi Peta I love this exercise, however I am trying my best to isolate and visualise muscles to prevent crinkling of the skin. when I do this exercise I feel the burn but im starting to get a line downwards on the skin covering the Risorious muscle :/ is this normal after doing it? it does disappear but its worrying ha. and like going to the gym for the body and you ache the day after is it the same for the face? I feel it burn at the time but don't feel any ache the day after.I also wanted to know does this exercise help with jowels? or do I need to do the jowel exercise separately?. I have started using the Renew me Laser Lift and id like to say what a lovely glow im starting to get thank you!. I know this particular exercise is to be done lying down but do all the exercises need to be done lying down? so my routine I have put together as you say use 5 areas on the face I start with the under eye lift,then this complete total cheek exercise,then my nose then neck. Am I following all this routine correctly? theres so much to take in but greatly appreciated.as in starting to get dints on my masseter muscle which I haven't seen for some time.finally got definition to be able to wear blusher again in stead of looking like a clown ha.:)))

Hello Peta. When I do this exercise the lines on my cheeks get worse as I do it. Will one of the other exercises iliminate that problem. Just squeezing my lips together causes the lines in that area. When I say cheeks it's actually the area below my cheeks thank you x

Hi Peta, I'm a little confused, the left side of my face isn't behaving its self at all, the muscles on the left side feel more plump, more so the masticator muscle, but although the muscles on the left side seems more plump I have bagging at the corner of my mouth and my jowls are more noticeable on this side, my right side looks more lifted hardly any bagging or jowls. I can't work out what's going on, do I need to work the left side of my face more or less to get rid of the bagging and the jowls? I've been doing facerobics for 3months and my face feels so much firmer it doesn't feel like my face when I wash and moisturise, it feels great! Hi Shalini, all of the exercises should be done laying down, before you go to sleep or before you get up in the morning. It is much more comfortable, and then also you dont have to worry about doing them in the morning when you get up

On this exercise I only feel the muscles under my fingers, I can't feel the cheek muscles moving :-( Do you engage your cheek muscles consciously too or do they move as a result of pressing the lips together? I have a question, can you use the micro current tool on the same day as you do the facerobics? I know you said not to fatigue and over work the muscles. Is the micro current tool considered a work out as well or just tightening. I dont want to over work the muscles so I am not sure :)

Hi Petra, I am just not sure of what you want us to do with our mouth in this exercise. Do we first turn in our lips and then try to purse(push out the center like a kiss) while trying to keep our lips turned in. You mention in one of the comments below that we there should be also a conscious movement of the cheek muscles "You just need to purse your lips then squeeze your cheek muscles back and forth." But I wasn't sure if that movement form the cheek muscle actually is just from focussing on pursing the lips. Also wanted to know if it is o.k. just to alternate for part of a year between series one and two?

SO sorry, still not clear on how to prepare the lips before pursing. Starting point would be lips naturally together, and then roll lips so feel skin between lips and nose tightening in and then purse?
