Epinephrine is a must for long missions, besides the stamina and carry weight, it also almost fully restores your sleep meter, basically you don't ever need to sleep with a steady supply of epi.

I can only 200% agree. I'm currently at the end of my ironman run, and I've been having constant stocks of epinephrine. This drug is a total gamechanger. I would even argue that I should somehow be nerfed maybe in terms of price, it's really that strong

I actually crafted a sleeping bag down there to be fresh for encountering the monolith on the way back. I had not previous experience of this, so I went very slowly and methodically. I also blew up the guy below the stairs, because he kicked the box a little and that betrayed him. Thanks to better helmet or better luck on random radioactivity spots, I did not have same issue getting back through the wagon. But the curved road was blocked by black cloud monster/anomaly so I went back through Red Forest.

Well, Monolith soldier is very likely to sneak up on you while you try to heal, loot and doing thing with your backpack... so I usually take some proximity mine plant some of them after I clear a room so the guy on next room will stop ambush while I looting and try sneak on me. It work every time!

Not sure if someone has posted this info or if the Gamma modpack is intended for it, but last video you had a bit of trouble with the radiation patches during the assault on the Monolith Compound. Taking Sulfadimethoxine or Cystamine boosts your Rad. Resistance but for some reason acts as a cut-off for ambient rad patches affecting you. I have as low as 35-37% rad resistance from poor equipment and taking one pill makes you untouchable from most rad sources. Sulfadimethoxine is also really cheap for the cost and is a building block ingredient for Fentanyl making it IMO my most purchased item from Ecologists and Faction Medics. Hope this helps!

Phew that was one hell of a rollercoaster ride for sure. I think I didn't flinch this much during the whole series (so far). Yeah X-19 is something else. Sweet innocent me was like: "I know it's Monolith, but surely 500 rounds and some shotgun ammo for mutants will be enough". After disabling the brain scorcher I was crawling around like a hobo scavenging for ammo and weapons that could shoot 3 or 5 rounds before jamming. It was ... fun. Best part: Before the NPP raid I was thinking like: "Surely 300 rounds of soviet and 300 rounds of NATO ammo will be enough. I have my buddies with me, it will be fine". Little did I know how much of a clusterfuck it is to fight with AI companions in close quarters combat. That is why you cannot trust me to do an ironman playthrough haha

I recently did this for the first time, had to watch a video for directions but stopped the video as soon as they showed where the switch was, had no idea Monolith ambush you on the way out, it was so hard but so fun and I survived but was getting bingo ammo and meds for a while lol

After last update (one that increased water rad) radiation is a nightmare. I heard its gonna be fixed in future updates, but for now it is what it is. You'll probably not make it to Deserted Hospital in this update, but right now water inside there is basically insta kill (full rad bar in less then 1 second with 90% res) no matter how much ressistance you have. Just to be aware of that tho. Whenever its night when I leave Brain Scorcher I just sneak my way out to Red Forest without shooting a single bullet. Its super easy and a lot faster then just camping and fighting Mono again.

a few improvements to your gameplay: morphine doesn't make you very dizzy, an energy drink or caffeine tablet is enough instead of glucose, save those for rebirth/yadulin replace yadulin with fentanyl, its more costly but makes you less dizzy bring vinca for post healing torso, ibuprofen only recovers limbs & yadulin make you dizzy, vinca just makes you hungry, which can be mitigated by: epinephrine shot, bring 1 or 2 for an end of raid, gives you like 20 kg extra weight whilst reduces hunger & tiredness, a bit costly but well worth always carry a handful of radioprotectant, its basically weightless & pretty cheap whilst giving you that little bit of extra radiation protection to make you basically immune to all radiation

Oh weird…. I don’t know if they changed it but I did this mission yesterday and the lab was absolutely packed with Monolith (on the way in). Got some damn good loot out of it at least. My timer was also 10 mins but that could have been a difficulty setting thing.

You can zoom in further with ur red dots using the extra mouse buttons on ur mouse its auto assigned to that.

@@xenf1365 yep, it currently buged. But grok trying to fix it. The Vks has 5 bullet, max range 1200 but the bullet drop off is really bad. The Barret has 10 bullet mag, use the strongest bullet but expensive. The good thing is the upgrade, it can mount a supressor, the scope can zoom further and has a enemies detector

Mb I hallucinated that bt to me crouch walk is how you don't avoid the AI "wallhacking" you. My hundreds of hours on that game actually educated me to nearly always be crouched during fire fights, although occasionnaly I was a sitting duck.

disassembling bullets that you don't need and using the gunsmithing tools to make your ammo of choice can really help out here

Not that Dangerous afterall , i started my brain scorcher run and yours Is without monolith when entering mine does have Like 25/30 i suppose( killed 8/12 before and past the Door) Just to reach the lever and i Just wanted 4 minutes to kill the 10guys before me and the Door....i do not play iron man but still hard+ Survival . Running the latest Gamma 0.9.1 and this Place Is a pain ; did almost run out of bullets Just to reach the Door with the keypad wasting hard earned 450AP rounds .. honestly i dunno how to deal with It.. Wearing Apocalypse helm+ Military Exo-suit+ Lurker Hide+ chimera Hide + 10% dmg reduction from drugs .. they hit Like Trucks anyway Is Simply impossible to do the "solo Strelok run" ; only One time i manager to get past the Door and there were Like 8 guys waiting for me and One with a Nosrog and 3 with a normale exoskeleton ...i dunno what to do and i really don't want to reduce the difficulty to make my Life much easyer Is already a fucking pain killing all of the 15guys outside the bunker lol
