Rohit and Kohli should be dropped a couple of times and forced to return only if they perform again in ranji trophy... when they can play IPL, why not return to red ball cricket in ranji and show to the selection committee that they have regained form? Why only Shreyas has to do that? Kohli has become the walking wicket - just full outside 5th stump and he is bound to nick one - especially while it is seaming away - not in subcontinent surfaces, where he is the king.. Well done ashwin for a great career. Only concern , which was brought by sunny gavaskr too was retiring in middle of series. I understand that he wont play in next two matches even if the pitches support spin track , espec in sydney. But concern is if jaddu or washy get injured and sydney is a spin track, we will be one bowler short. If he felt he is past his prime after having a average home series in Newzealand, he could have retired in India itself. I think management too should be clear on communication. Rohit should have been clear that he is only third after washy and jaddu. I understand why he played in adelaide as rohit forced him to play in that test as news report said he communicated only to Rohit that he is retiring in perth. Anyway a good career.. Personally felt he would cross Anil kumble record in test 619 wickets, but seeing the bench strength of spinners and with even kuldeep(injured) not in team, its goood he took it
