Join us for a new adventure as we travel to Walt Disney World! In this vlog we fly economy with British Airways from Gatwick (LGW) to Terminal C at Orlando International Airport (MCO). We take you with us from our pre-travel day stay, to checking into Disney's Old Key West Resort and catching the final night of the Disney Dreams That Soar drone show!

It's travel day! You join us at the Holiday Inn Worth near Gatwick Airport (LGW) on the night before our fight. We show you around the room and then head to the hotel restaurant for a bite to eat.
The next morning we get a taxi to the South Terminal and, after making our way through check-in and security, we head to the No.1 Lounge. We spend an enjoyable couple of hours eating breakfast, drinking coffee and Bucks Fizz and relaxing in the lounge.
Our British Airways flight in the World Traveller/economy cabin has a great selection of in-flight movies and Keith is happy that they have alcohol free beer! (Which is no longer available in the Virgin Atlantic economy cabin).
We arrive into Terminal C at MCO which is new, light and spacious. After an anxious wait for Keith's suitcase we finally make it through immigration and order a Lyft cab to take us "home" to Disney's Old Key West Resort.
It's our first time trying out the DVC Deluxe Studio Villa and we are impressed with the size of the room. However, after spending around 30 minutes in the room it is obvious that the musty and damp smell that we thought was just down to the recent rain and the room not being aired for a few days is not wearing off, so Guest Services kindly relocate us to another identical villa in the South Point Road area... which, thankfully, smells nice!
After a quick freshen up and a look around the Conch Flats General Store, we get the ferry boat to Disney Springs and head past House of Blues to the viewing area for Disney Dreams That Soar. The show is stunning and we are so pleased that we managed to see it on it's final night.
After the show we brave the dispersing crowds and make our way to Chicken Guy where we enjoy some of their famous chicken tenders and dipping sauces before heading back to the resort.

We are Keith, Tracey, Luke, and Daisy. We have been going on family vacations to Walt Disney World, Orlando, Florida for almost 19 years. We have stayed on International Drive, Universal Resorts, and several Walt Disney World Resorts and became Disney Vacation Club members in 2022. Inspired by seeing other people sharing their adventures on KZbin, we decided to document our experiences too. When not in Florida we run an accommodation business and support Luke’s motor racing adventures in the BRSCC Mazda MX-5 Championship.
