By the way, Marie, did you know that so many delicious European recipes start with that fabulous trio of onions, celery and carrots that they've named it? In France they say, for instance, "prepare your mirapoix" or in Italy "begin your soffritto". It always means that traditional trio of veggies! Take care and thanks again! ❤

You can also add a 1/2 cup of heavy cream to make it supper creamy and I add just a pinch of nutmeg, but this looks amazing and now I need a cup of hot soup with some crusty bread for dinner.🥖🌻🍁

I just discovered your VLOG today and I love it. I'm just down the road from you here in Stone Mountain. Originally from east Tennessee, so I know and love southern cooking. I saw your video today about how you met and married. Loved the story about you dressing for your wedding in a "filling station," as we used to call them. When I got married here in Atlanta my father was in the hospital in Knoxville, TN. The day after our wedding we drove to Knoxville to re-dress and go see my father in the hospital. That re-dress was supposed to happen at my parent's house but my mother forgot to leave us a key in, so we stopped at a nasty "filling station" to put my gown on and his tuxedo. He had to come in the nasty ladies room to button my dress up the back. When we entered the hospital we had the neatest reception from all the nurses and patients who saw us all dressed up for our wedding. I cried when I walked in my Daddy's room. The love between the two of you is beautiful. Thank you for sharing that.
