Some mini turkey meatballs or chunks of chicken breast would be great in this soup, too. Good source of protein(and low carb!) to go along with all the vegetables and legumes. The soup looked delicious!

Follow up. I made the soup today. Delicious and low carb! The broth was fantastic, and the seasoning was just right! Adding this recipe to my low carb meal rotation. My husband, who is not diabetic, loved it too. A soup without potatoes, rice, or noodles and is great! Thanks!

It is a very cold day so I went looking for a veggie soup recipe. I am so glad I found your video! This was delicious! I gobbled up three bowls immediately. I didn’t use chicken broth. I used 6 c water but the flavors of the veggies came through and it was so tasty. I did add a couple glugs of v8 low sodium tomato juice. I do wish I had a loaf of crusty French bread for dipping but not so. Thank you so much for sharing and happy healthy new year!

I have a question...can you put flour and noodles in air tight containers and it not get bugs or them little worms. I want to put them in air tight containers and keep them in my pantry but was always afraid of what can go wrong Thank You for answering Jeanie

Thanks for the question. We always leave our flour in the original bag and put the bag in the big ziploc bags. We haven't had any problems doing this. This will work good for 1 year and maybe a little longer. Just remember to rotate your supply and you will always have a one year supply. If you need to store flour longer than that then you would need to use mylar bags and oxygen absorbers. Hope this helps. Calvin
