So scary. I was kidnapped when i was in the first grade. An old lady grabbed me by the arm from the front of the school (behind the gate) and started pulling me to walk with her. I was little, scared, shy, and confused so i just walked and i don’t even remember if i said anything to her. I think i remember i pulled away at first but she insisted i go with her. I remember she was really pulling on me and using force. She was also walking with another child older than me from school so i think that’s why i went with her and it may have made me feel a little comfortable. I think she was also telling me over and over that she was taking me home. We were about three blocks from the school. My mom totally forgot we got out a little early that day so she said by the time she realized she was running just a few minutes behind. Usually my mom was waiting outside the gate before we even got out. By the grace of god, my mom happened to turn on the street we were walking down as she was speeding to go get me. She happened to see me. I swear it was a miracle. We were right across from a church and God really was with me that day. My guardian angel was watching over me. She parked the car in the middle of the street and got out and started screaming. The lady was like i was taking her home which was a lie. She didn’t even know where i lived. This was before everyone really had cell phones in the early 90’s so my mom couldn’t call the cops and didn’t know what else to do. She was just freaking out. The lady and the other kid ran off in the direction we were walking in. She was probably going to sell me or something. If my mom wouldn’t have turned on that street or would’ve been just a few seconds later, i most likely would’ve been gone forever. Please talk to your children. Educate them on stuff like this. The world can be an ugly place full of evil people. Stay safe everyone. Especially with these kidnapping stories that have been popping up even more recently and all the children that they are finding. It’s only getting worse. This goes for adults And teens as well.

Similar situation happened to my mom in the neighborhood we live in. She was walking and some men parked by where she was walking, one got down and started walking behind her so she started walking faster and he would walk faster too. All of a sudden he started chasing her and my mom ran to the street and was screaming for help so someone stopped to help her and that man took off running into some apartments and the car that was waiting for him took off too. She called my dad in the process as well so my dad had showed up shortly after someone stopped to help my mom.. they went looking for him and never found him. Pisses me off that we aren’t even safe in our own neighborhood.
