I made captain crunch French toast exactly like your recipe, and then I made it without the captain crunch step. I liked it plain but it looks more instagrammable with the cereal. Now I only make french toast the way you showed (2 eggs, 1/2 cup cream, sugar, cinnamon and vanilla). It's always fluffy, custardlike, and tasty.
