I legit just said to myself that I didn't have anything to eat. No, I've got plenty food, but I don't WANT any of that. With absolutely no doubt I know there's someone in my neighborhood who is really hungry. But you could have figured that out on your own, if you just read a bit of the comments here, instead of just asking for the answer. But I guess that shows my age, because I assume that you're younger than me, as I am 46. @JarodMoonchild19753 жыл бұрын
@Martine So happy that you commented this, combined with your age, as you're even older than me. Because I'm not american, and we don't get Captain Crunch here. We only get Corn Flakes, Frosted Flakes, Cheerios, and some other cereals, mostly from Kellogg's. And one from Quaker, but I don't know what it's called in english. But we have all sorts of types of cereals available to us, from the super healthy non-sugar bran ones, to the sweet and "kid-friendly" ones, but not necessarily the authentic american brand ones. But my point is, you totally disproves that silly point of Mustafa's, that it's only for kids. And to me, that's the beauty of being an adult, that you can eat and drink whatever you want, and no one can tell you any differently. And besides, although the manufacturers may initially have kids as their target audience, no food product is ever sold to just one demographic. And you, along any other mature person saying the same thing as you, proves that this point Mustafa is making, is a silly one, and people shouldn't limit themself, just because how they think others might view their choices of foods. The only valid reason for that, is if you have a pre-existing condition, like diabetes for example, or the food in question is unhealthy for you, or if you have allergies from that food, like peanuts, for example.

Fun little fact, back when phones were analog, a phone phreaker ( basically the equivalent of a phone system hacker) got the nickname "Captain Crunch" because he discovered the Whistle that came as the toy surprise in the box gave the exact tone used by technicians to get to the debugging section of the system. So you could blow the whistle into your phone and use it like a backdoor password into the phone system.
@toomanyaccounts3 жыл бұрын
that was corrected in 1980. 99% of the people who wound up trying it after hearing about it out, found out the phones no longer responded to sounds. He wasn't the one who discovered it. He was told about by several blind people who found out that they could identify the frequencies of the audio tones. the whistle wasn't a password into the phone system. it just enabled one to to make free long distance calls and if you were at say an airport allowed you to make all the phones hang up on people. you are confusing blue boxes which replicated all the tones and allowed one to interface with the system with what the whistle did which was just one tone.
