Chef Jose Andres says Israeli attack targeted aid workers 'systematically'

In an interview with Reuters, World Central Kitchen Founder Chef Jose Andres addressed the Israeli attack that killed seven aid workers. He said the attack in Gaza had targeted them "systematically, car by car."

The vans were first chased by drones. Then each car was targeted by missiles to make sure that everyone died. Idf claims that the attack was unintentional, but drone attacks are usually coordinated by a team instead of being an accident.

They were out at 11pm under the cloak of darkness in vehicles that were poorly equipped with adequate marking to differentiate their activities from possibly hostile ones. A majority of the responsibility lays with the organization itself for not implementing a strict policy of daylight operations to prevent accidents. I’m waiting to learn if the report of these vehicles being armed was an official one.

If the cars were targeted systematically as the chef claims it is probably because Israel had information that terrorists were using aid vehicles to move around in, just like they did when using ambulances to get in and out of hospitals. No ways was this a deliberate attack on WCK workers.

This was deliberate. World Central Kitchen, which fed more people in Gaza than any other single charity - over 200,000 people per day on some days, just announced that they are suspending their operations. They also announced that they had given the Israeli military their locations, were in a zone that was supposed to be “b@#b-free” and they were slaughtered anyway.
