I love the simplicity of this dish. I am definitely going to make it. It hits all the spots. I usually try to overcomplicate dishes with too many ingredients and I am finding I like more simple recipes. Thank you for sharing Chef Bravo with us 🥰

Very interesting comment on requiring more salt because of oil coating the taste buds!

Great interview as always AJ! I'd love to see a demonstration of Chef Bravo's Mole dish!! Imho, cooked animal meat tastes good because of the fat content as does oil, which I like to call "vegetable fat." As Dr Goldhammer says, our bodies want to build up fat reserves for the times when we're sick or food is scarce, like when spring comes late, so fat tastes good. We just don't need that much!

Yes. We should call it Vegetable Fat!

I used to eat steak with NO flavorings other than salt and thought it tasted good. Just saying... However, I have eaten much, much less meat in the past 20 years of my life and I am really, really glad to be off of it altogether, not only because it is so unhealthy but also because I love animals. I wish more people knew how unhealthy those "impossible" burgers are! I have never bitten into one and don't plan to ever do so, but I have an old friend who has been vegetarian for many years who is diabetic type 1 and just loves them and it makes me so sad.
