The fluffy thing is a pop filter, but wind muff suffices. On regular handheld microphones is prevents loud P or S sounds going through and blocks too much breathiness. So yeah, essentially it's a physical filter. If in not mistaken the headphone jack on the iPad is a two way, so you can plug in a mic to that

This isn't a tech review. NOBODY will use this joke set-up for vlogging. It's not portable, so he won;t go outside with it (although we all know Daniel never leaves the apartment) (and he has a Go-Pro!). A camera like the Canon G7X would be a better home set up or even his phone. But, at this point Daniel is doing it all for views. Anybody watching him for advice on anything (beyond how to get STD's) is frankly an idiot.

Great video...👍👍👍 The USA has over 100 (First amendment auditors) walking around with cameras in public places. Videotaping the public, and (the people don't like it). Hence millions of views on youtube. See ....auditing post offices around the USA..... See ... auditing government buildings around the USA..... See ....videotaping the police around the USA.... Many times the police want to see the video....with a small smartphone,,,,,it is difficult to see. Your iPad operation will be a step-up for all those auditors. NOTE; ....(Videotaping people in public is perfectly legal). Many people don't like it and......their reactions are worth putting on youtube. Many auditors are making a living out of it.
