Dhaba word came from erstwhile word ‘Dhaab’ which means a small roadside shed which used to store water for travelers on old roads. Slowly from only water they started making simple food and slowly the dhaab got converted to Dhaba..

Now I understand why Ranveer's recipe videos are long. He takes care of every aspect of the dish. I personally do not prefer Mix Veg and Bhindi Sabji but seeing his recipes I think I will start cooking and eating them more often now😃 I don't know why in other recipes vegetables are not cooked properly or don't have a good masala base to keep me interested. A humble request from your huge fan. Please make a video series for all the possible mistakes with prevention and fixes(if possible) while making the following kinds of sabjis. 1) Masala gravies - Tomato based, onion based, yoghurt based, cream based, coconut milk based etc... For e.g. - a) We try cooking the tomato puree with masala to the point where it becomes dry but the oil still doesn't separate. What could've gone wrong? b) We add yoghurt while making certain gravies but it starts curdling and splitting. What could've gone wrong? c) The tomato based gravy after it is done cooking separates into water (floating above) and the thick sauce (at the bottom) when left undisturbed for while in a bowl. What could've gone wrong? d) Paneer is chewy with a rubbery feel and texture. 2) Dry sabji masalas, sabji fry(like aloo dry fry), bharwans etc. You could also extend this for other dishes across cuisines like rice dishes, pasta, noodles, soups, appetizers, snacks, main course, desserts etc.
