This arrived in a glossy branded box with images of the air fryer grill on the outside along with specifications and function details. The box opens at the top with the user manual on the top, and the main unit between bespoke polystyrene. Everything it well packed and presented.
First impressions: the user manual is sectioned off into five languages with English being the first section. The instructions are clear and easy enough to follow and understand covering all the functions well along with diagrams. The main grill has a nice aesthetic to it with chrome silver and brushed silver set off against the black of the lid and front touch panel. The unit is quite heavy with rubber feet so it sits nice and solidly on a flat surface, and a large front handle to lift the large hinged lid. This has a removable cooking pot, interchangeable roast basket and grill grate depending on what you are cooking, and everything is well finished and appears high quality.
After I had unpacked everything I gave the removable parts a really good clean to remove any manufacturing taint which is quick and easy to clean. I had a really good read through the manual so I fully understood the settings and features, and was ready to test it out.
I first tried this out with some pork belly which I thought would be a good test for the roasting feature, and set it to 230c and 35 minutes cooking time using the grill grate. I did turn the temperature down to 200c around half way through the cooking as it seemed too hot. The pork turned out really well and nice and crisp on top, and I like that you can lift the lid at any time to check the cooking and it will instantly resume from the stop point when you close the lid again.
I next tested it out cooking some fresh cut chips which I had lightly coated in olive oil. I used the roast basket and set the time to 25 minutes on air fry rather than the pre-set 20 minutes as they were thick cut fresh rather than frozen. I lifted the lid and shook the chips up several times during cooing to ensure they all cooked and browned evenly. The chips turned out really well, all nice and crisp and fully cooked right through.
Overall I think this is a very good versatile air fryer grill, it does need the some care and caution when removing either the grill plate or roasting basket as you would with a conventional oven, and does not have the handled basket removal system common on a lot of air fryers. It performs really well and I have since cooked a whole chicken, steaks and various other items with great results. Overall in my opinion this is a really good high capacity unit that will handle quite big cooking tasks well, and at higher available temperatures than others. I can’t really find fault with it so have given top marks.

Hi Chris I have just bought this air fryer but I noticed that they don't give you any estimated timings for the various cuts of meat you want to cook. Also what the best method of cooking would be. Is it just a case of trial and error?

Hi, yes really it is more of trial and error. Checking and increasing/decreasing temperature and time is quick and easy enough, and with instant restart I find it works out well.

I've just bought one yesterday I've not used it yet I'm going tooo today think I'll do a fry up for dinner we had a roast last wek so a fry up this Sunday for a change bacon on the grill

Can you please tell me the hight of the basket and what is the non stick coating made off, is it teflon or ceramic? And what is the maximum temperature please? Can you adjust the temperature to anything you like or are they set to a certain range in the programms? Thank you so much!
