​@mitchculb780 yes, you can get both weighted and unweighted Flash-Glos. Those unweighted ones work awesome in frog water, just be patient when you let them sink, then you can barely turn the crank and that big bladd will turn over, and hang on! I've caught Kings as well as Silvers on them, and some Winter Steelhead, too.

Out of curiosity what's the limit out on the Chehalis river? For the Cohos and Chinook hatchery and wild? Just asking I haven't fished in over 10 years for Salmon

If you watch the video it will answer your question bud. Looks like a combination of trolling and casting to me which is what also do depending on the river /and conditions.

Try keeping the fish in the net and turn fish upside down will relax fish to take out lure...read regulations on what fish can keep

I fish several different rivers in my area and some do have different regulations for keepers that said, I`m full aware of current regulations for my specific river.

Fifty five years ago I cut my teeth on the chehalias river in the lower canyons, upper canyons with Harry Boil (a master fisherman in my time) and down below in pertties field, I hear it’s a golf course now. Hey if you bleed your fish they toast way better, just saying

Just so you know only hatchery coho can be retained good thing there was no DFO officer around at that time.

you should know your fishing regs before saying anything: says nothing about releasing wild Coho!!! CHEHALIS RIVER - GRAYS HARBOR CO. from the mouth (Hwy. 101 Bridge in Aberdeen) to Fuller Bridge (Keys Rd.) including all channels, sloughs, and interconnected waterways CRC (317) . Sept. 16-Nov. 30 Min. size 12”. Daily limit 6 including no more than 2 adults. Release adult Chinook.
