Chelli, I know this is a really old video from when you started sharing your wash & go routines, but this is exactly what I was looking for, today. I big chopped my hair back in Jan 2018 and I have been growing my small fro to get my curls back, ever since. Let me tell you you were a huge hairspiration from day 1 🙌🏽 8 months later, I think my hair if finally ready to start applying this technique of yours. I just got this same Eco gel last night. I love this! My hair is naturally curly & i wash it and leave it natural here and there but i wanted to kick up my curls a bit and make them more defined + reduce all the friz in my hair ! This video is super helpful and I will definitely try this method! I cannot wait!!!!!

Your routine looks great! Can I ask why you apply the gel before brushing? everything else I've read says apply all products EXCEPT gel before brushing, but it seems to work for you. Have you tried it the other way round?

I have one question. My curls are very loose almost like yours, but way shorter. I have multiple curl types, I am a type 4, type 3 and type 2. So my question is isn't the smoothie too thick for your hair? Because for one I know that heavy products don't work well on loose curls, it weighs it down. My hair is very prone to buildup, so I prefer the hair milk. Why the smoothie, just curious? And my hair is very thick.

Thank you! I usually refresh with water mixed with any essential oil in a spray bottle to the areas that got frizzy

King Jordy try with not straightening it. Most people do a big chop to get the flow going but it's all up to you. Deep conditioning will be your bff. Products without sulphates and bad ingredients for curly hair is what you want. Shea moisture is what I first started with because they're affordable and they work excellent.
