Hopefully this can get to market. The only other option I know of is the FDF mantis kit. The mantis kits adds a ton of angle and seems well received but it uses a custom fabbed spindle making it pricey. If this kit could come in around $1500 or less it could take over as the primary option for the s550 chassis.

FDF kits all water jetted steel... so this being a motorsports grade kit, it’ll probably be similarly priced.

Loving watching the vids, big fan from Australia! Would love to see you do a vid on tyre grip explaining the difference in semis/streets (treadwears and brand comparisons), with comparisons chasing someone while explaining how the different tyres feel and how the car reacts. Havent seen it described with in car commentary while comparing, which as someone doing more and more comps I and I'm sure many others would love to see especially with your knowledge and way of explaining things. Keep up the sweet vids!

Pretty neat Chelsea. I'm sliding a 350z right now, but have a S550 GT and the steering was just so different from the Z that it deterred me quite a bit. Is a manual rack the answer for improved self-steer? Regardless, I look forward to you finalizing this kit and throwing it on the market. I'd bet this comment has my mustang in the shop crying thinking about the pain I'm going to put it through soon.

You can’t drive a car like this with a manual rack. Also no drift car should be driven without power steering

Why is electric steering bad?

Its not terrible it just isnt as smooth as mechanical power steering. Like on an frs brz with angle the car has dead spots due to the computer freaking out slightly. I havent driven an s550 yet so idk if its the same deal or not.
