I bought a gallon of this stuff and its my go to cleaner for most things. I keep it mixed 10:1 for stains on microfiber towels, tires, wheels, household cleaning and just about anything else.

This stuff is a must have. I detail dump trucks and the chassis are always greasy, dirty, and nasty. This stuff is an amazing cleaner backed up with a pressure washer. I mean there is no other cleaner that removes all of the pto fluid, grease, and oil. Absolutely amazing.

Hi nathan my engine is full of dirt and grime and i want to clean my engine so do i put a bag on my alternator and take my battery down and spray the whole engine and then let it sit for 10 or 15 minutes and then spray it off

WD40 specialist degreaser is better and safer for engine bay. But it's costly. This citrus based degreaser works great to.

Hey Lucas! For really heavy cleaning jobs Orange Degreaser can be used full strength but dilute 6 parts water to 1 part degreaer for extreme cleaning, 10-15 parts water to one part degreaser for medium cleaning, or 25-40 parts water to 1 part degreaer for light duty.

We have several engine cleaning videos on KZbin that go in depth. Common Sense needs to be used when cleaning and engine bay. Always cover items that you do not want water coming in contact. Pressure was your engine at your own risk.

I use grime reaper for brown tires and some times you need to clean it a few times and scrub with a tire brush

I have to disagree with the comment below. At $24 a gallon, this is a steal. Btw Chemical Guys, would this product be good for cleaning brown tires? Or is the Signature Series Wheel Cleaner stronger and more appropriate for that task?

Could you use this in the foamer with Mr. Pink for the body and wheels/glass. Diesel engines spew oil out of the cyliders when they idle and it ends up as dots all over my car.

narith kean I'd say the distributor and generally ANY metal parts as they are likely cast aluminum. NO degreaser should be applied on aluminum. This guy is spraying EVERYWHERE, not sure if it's the right thing to do

I don't wanna sound like a nob here but I have a MK4 GTi myself, and pressure washed the engine many a time. It won't give you any problems so long as you cover up common sense parts i.e exposed filter, distributor etc. C'mon guys it's the 21st century I'm sure car manufacturers take into account that people wanna clean their engine bays when designing their vehicles.

HI EJ , yes it is, just spray it on, let it sit for a minute or two, and then rinse it off with either a pressure washer or water less wash and wax.

Never ever power-wash your engine. Unless you are ready to do some code troubleshooting or have some serious issues with electronics. I always use cloth an light chemical/water to wipe it clean. You can easily damage the electronics with power-washing or hosing the engine.

It doesn't, depends on how you spray the water, I always pick the lowest setting and do a quick pass around the engine. Never had any problems

all new vehicles post say early 90s really prob wont have a issue.. however I know my 300zx would since the seals on the connectors are crap on those vehicles.. I'm more worried about the alternator getting wet If I did it on my truck..
