I was excited finding your channel through Winston. When I was in my 30s I had a whole mess of punk people in the little small Southern town I live in bullying me. So instead of taking karate here in this town I drove 42 miles away to take kung fu. It was one of the best decision. My Sifu was under Shaolin principles and his Sifu was under Wing Chun. I had a great time. It definitely taught me that I didn’t need to be fearful of being beat up by some crazy people. I definitely learned how to protect myself.

I had the pleasure of learning from him for a short while; making him the second si jingang I learned from. I'm more of a Indonesian martial arts guy these days, but I still appreciate his lessons.

A small correction: He is not a 19th generation inheritor of Taijiquan, but he is in the 19th generation of the Chen clan. In the martial arts lineage he's in the 11th generation.

You'd need to research some more vids on Chen Xiaowang, go to some workshops as well since he is currently predominantly in China right now. If you have the opportunity to do some tui shou with both you'll get it... eventually however many years it might take ;)
