OH MY GOD YOU MADE ME CRY SO MUCH THIS IS PERFECT ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 My own dog drowned due to my selfishness as a youth - he was old and blind and I took time to party instead of going home. The splashes were still fresh around my pool when I finally arrived and brought his body out from the bottom. This is beautiful. Amazing. You touched every aspect of this. Amazing.

Believe it or not, if i want to see and talk to my parents in a dream, i will sit with a photo of them and meditate before I go to bed. It doesn't work all the time but sometimes.

@shield6324 It was already mentioned earlier when the grandfather said "how can this be heaven if there are no dogs here". They wouldn't have tried to send the dog because they don't go where the grandfather is. So, she improvised.

Lol Edit: seeing it again, and after showing it to my kids, I see I was wrong. There was no leading here, just a misunderstanding. Keep up the great work. @@donaldduck830 its part of the ceremony. Once the moon blocks show that the ancestor has finished eating, the family can eat the food, otherwise it would be wasted.

@@EpicallyCasual Ok, ty. So why can't the dog be adopted by the family? Or rather: It is said that all dogs go to heaven, even if that is not true cause them are mean, some dogs should still got to heaven either way. I love the animation, but this story really confuses me. Great voice acting and pacing and everything, but the basic premise is really far out of my personal experience and I got lost. Saw a movie this weekend with a Korean fireman who died and went through trials whether or not he was a good guy. The reward was being reborn instantly. The Reward. No respite, no Elysian fields, just back to the grind. Seriously, that was the reward. I don't get that at all.

When grampa said he wanted a dog we learn a few things: (spoilers below) . . . . apparently no dogs go to heaven. lol. would they need to send that dog to heaven somehow, yikes lol! I'm glad they didn't. What if it was sunset when they were sending, but it stopped sending halfway, would there be only half a dog in heaven? The little girl has the power to give souls to crafted objects. Wow! . I'm glad things worked out the way they did in the end, and I thoroughly enjoyed this story 🙂👍

This directly contradicts the aphorism that ALL dogs go to heaven. Maybe there are different areas in heaven and dogs don't go to the Chinese heaven cause those dudes eat dogs? But yeah, the old men talked about fur and got a paper dog.

Chengbeng is Chinese festival, we burn things made from paper to send things to heaven, the smart phone is made from paper, not only paper smart phone, we burn paper house, paper car etc

It's a sweet video, I'll grant you that, but... imho it's like a heavy metal band who mid concert decides to play classic music. It doesn't matter how good how nice the band plays Mozart, people are going to be disappointed or nonplussed because it's not why they are there. To circle back to my original point, this video is nice and sweet, but it isn't why I followed this channel. I watch your videos to laugh, not because I'm looking to watch a moving video. Just my honest feedback, not trying to be insulting.
