Thanks for your excellent update. Initially when the 4th Line project from Chennai Egmore to Chennai Beach Was announced Southern Railway had given a Seven Months Target for completion of this Project. This is indeed a very challenging Project. As per The Hindu Newspaper Reports due to Land aquisition problems with RBI, MRTS has given one of their tracks from Fort station to Chennai Beach to SR to be utilized as 4th line. Hence MRTS Trains will run on Single line track from Fort station to Chennai Beach Station. I think this project may take another 4 to 50monts to get completed. Since levelling of lands, Construction of Minor Bridges and Removal of Debris are all there. Let us hope and pray that his project gets completed in time. Your enthusiastic narration added to the charm of watching this video.

When the first bg track between beach and Tambaram in 1992 or 1994 if iam one of my friend told me the suggestion was given to construct double line between beach and Tambaram to SR they have ignored because of that the cost escalated and also the work delayed I think it may be completed by end of 2025 but bro your updation is good Expecting more updates from Velachery to st.mount station I like your updation good luck

First ( BG) broad-gauge line at Tambaram was laid in 1995 - 1996 which was part of the broad gauge conversion from Egmore . Hope so they complete the work as soon as possible. Thank you for watching !!!!
