Totally agree. I hadn't even heard of this song till I heard Chers audition & rushed KZbin to view the jeri hikson version thinking I'd found a banger of a tune and was left So disappointed. It was rubbish no flow nor beat. The only good version is Chers. Made it her own and a hit.. she has such a beautiful voice, and hits those high notes flawlessly 🥰

Yeah totally made me emotional too. She is super talented and there was that aspect. BUT.... I remember watching her on the show and also remembered while watching how the public were pretty unfair towards her.
