Wow! She is so honest and intelligent about it! That is such an inspiration! I also admire so much how she dares to admit that she maybe wasn't such a great mother but in such a loving way! By putting it that way she in my eyes immediately becomes a loving mother as she aims to set her children free by that. It's hard to put into words but it's really deep. She tries to take over some of the burden from them as she seems to realise she has made some mistakes.

@Bunny-ch2ul3 жыл бұрын
If they put "camp" in the title more than half the population would expect a story about summer camp, or camping in the woods. "Camp" in the gay sense is pretty new in terms of public consciousness. Everyone has some idea of what "kitsch" is. I wouldn't call Cher the person kitsch. A Cher 8 Track on your bookshelf is kitsch. Cher the performer is far more camp.

I'm always amazed by people who are so honest and comfortable scrutinizing themselves. Cher isn't worried about being seen as arrogant by calling herself intelligent, but is equally not worried about being disliked by saying she could have been a better mom.

She may believe that it was some chance encounter that made her famous but I don't. I believe that some people are born with innate abilities that will eventually come out one way or another. Maybe finding celebrity status as young as she did changed that trajectory somewhat But I highly doubt we never would have heard of her if it was not for Sonny Bono. Its like saying if it wasn't for Henry Ford, there NEVER would have been an assembly line. That's absurd. He may have thought of it first but it was an invention that grew out of a need and would have been invented eventually by somebody. Likewise, Cher's talents would have eventually brought her spotlights etc even without Sonny.
