These segments all showcase incredible and inspiring and also very human people-- but can we also give props to the interviewers? Interviewing is an art and not only have they asked important questions but they have got genuine answers to their questions. Compare to opening any magazine today and seeing some starlet tiptoe around every social issue after speaking for 20 paragraphs about her favourite lipstick. I'm not dissing modern celebrities- I'm saying how interviewing as an art has declined and become more about product placement and shallow popularity contests. I am so glad I found these little clips with their gorgeous animations.

Gender-fluidity being represented and how there’s no such thing as just feminine or masculine ??? I love her
@MarthaMansbridge3 жыл бұрын
Absolutely, but don't fall into he trap of confusing this with the current lunacy that is transgenderism - those people actually believe men can be women and women can be men - that's not about flexing gender roles, that's people who deny their biology, and most importantly, your biology, and think being a woman, for example, is nothing more than makeup and high-heels - women should be appalled by those people, unfortunately, the world is being brainwashed into being 'kind' - the fake sort of kind that rather than tell people to get real, they along with it "so you feel like a woman today, sure, then you're a woman"...... by all means be kind, be understanding, be tolerant but don't allow a tiny majority of people to warp scientific fact, deny biology and actively push kids into their fantasy world. I'm fairly sure Bette Davis would've had much to say on men wearing dresses and claiming centuries of women's struggles as their own.....

Do you have any idea how many men suffer to live up to the 'masculine' ideal? explains why male suicide is so much higher, why men die younger, why men have more heart attacks. No one ever talks about that, no one ever talks about where the 'masculine' ideal comes from, that it comes mostly from women who genetically are programmed to be attracted to strong, hunter-gatherer men or, for that matter, that the biggest critics of women are most often other women. No one ever talks about that either - of course not, doesn't align to the fashionable narrative that women are and have always been perpetual and chronic victims of men - any and every man.

Stephen Leotti; What an arrogant and asinine comment. Feminism is doing just fine; always has been. The problem is people who stand in the way of progress. Due to the Internet and animosity, hate groups have a safe place to grow and fester and infect others. Many impressionable, young males these recent years are being manipulated by women-haters to be against feminism and against anything else that helps marginalized groups. Anti-feminists are going to look really bad in the history books 50 years from now.

Bette Davis would be so sad were she alive today to see how women are being treated/conditioned top down by a powerful predatory-religious political force. Oh, I wasn't describing Iran, Afghanistan etc etc. Into the conventional domain, she expresses the anima-animus integration issue better than Jung did, spitting it out with a few perfect words rather than writing volumes about it... not that I'm dismissing Jung's work in the least. That was so damn important, more so than Freud's imo.

General social morals and ethics have gone way down since those early days of cinema. I mean don't get me wrong, things still happened and Bill Hayes was pretty much 100x worse than PC Culture and Cancel Culture combined, but regular people who worked in Hollywood still had good ethics, which meant there was a market for honesty in Hollywood. Nowadays, they're mostly all corrupt there, so dishonesty is rampant in that town. That's why I started my own studio, Scribblebytes. I value honesty in entertainment as well as ingenuity in the content, because it's true: people don't know what they want until you give it to them. As an actor I've realised that civilians don't have the same imagination we do and it's our job to entertain them using our rich imaginations; while they continue to do the hard work of keeping society going. We work to alleviate the stress of doctors, nurses, teachers, blue collar workers and such, and we should let them do what they do and we'll take care of the evening's programming.🌟
