We own a cherry farm in the US and you are getting awesome wages. I’m wondering how much are they selling a bucket of cherries for if they are paying you $12 of it? Cherries must go for a very high price there. With the other costs involved they would need to sell that bucket for at least $40 for the owner to make any money. Does that Farmer only have Sweet cherries? Or do they have Tart cherries also? Do they mechanically harvest any of there cherries with a Cherry Shaker? I know especially with Sweets they will bruise and not last as long. As well the Sweets they want to have the stem on. It looks like a great place to work. We are only getting .15-.20 cents a pound from our buyers so we wouldn’t be able to pay that high

Hello! Nice video. Im going to Australia in august/sept and I would like to live in Tasmania and make farm work, so… where is it? How can I work there?
@sabisulehriatassiecharisma40182 жыл бұрын
Hi Stefany, thank you for liking my video. See in August/Sept, you can work in Dairy farm which will be on peak, there are other plenty of farms as well, in Dec mid Cherry 🍒 picking season will start after that potato 🥔 harvesting season and so on, from South to North there are plenty of farms you’ll get farm work easily 😊 Try to join Facebook groups like Backpackers in Tasmania, it will help you alot as well. If you’ve any other questions please feel free to ask ☺️
