Hi, im a musician:) Very briefly, why I'm writing to you; I produce my own music on the piano and am looking for someone to sing the melody or make one up with me. I find your voice really beautiful and think it could be a good match to make music together:)

I got recommended this after listening to Kevin Olusola's Julie-O on cello at the Crawford Family Forum, which is my favorite recording of all time. But this isn't a half bad second! Thanks KZbin!

Gross get your negging out of here. I just want you to know that you’re not supportive and the people in your life can see that you’re a snide person. You should really work on that. You need a better attitude.

Hey, Sydnie Christmas won AGT, what was her last song? You can do better. She did great, but singing loud doesn't trump real purity, You have that.
@willernst27216 ай бұрын
Well you sang the song beautifully but that song itself definitely isn't beautiful. The lyrics paint a picture of classic abuse in a relationship and probably shouldn't be praised. Just my two cents. I think you should lend your voice to some old timey hymns, like Come Thou Font.
@keeeala6 ай бұрын
I agree but i think it’s a song that’s all too relatable. That’s why i like it. In the moment those kind of relationships feel worth it for the good times, and looking back they aren’t. Thank you for watching!! I will definitely sing come thou font, I’ve just listened to it for the first time (beautiful!)
@user-jg4yz6dj3q5 ай бұрын
I agree she would do a great version of Come though Fount. I’m in a praise band but am drawn to songs and stories of love exploring all varieties of relationships. They encourage discussion and collaboration and debate of all forms of love and this song is a poetic and inspiring. I play Come Thou Font quite often but I also play Leonard Cohen’ masterpieces like “Chelsea Hotel” and “Hallelujah” and Bird on the Wire. There are many bawdy tunes written by composers who wrote music for the church especially during the Renaissance and Reformation. Like most artists they explore subjects of good and evil. But I really respect where you’re coming from. Pathos is a part of the human experience.☮️

@@user-jg4yz6dj3q part of my problem with this particular song might stem from a different song by Hozier, "Take Me To Church". I understand the explanation the artist gives for said song and can see it actually having that meaning, but it definitely plays and sounds like a worship song to the one the Bible refers to as Her along with many other names. So this song, "Cherry Wine" ends up sounding like a worship song as well to me. A little background for clarification, I wasn't always a Christian and was actually a pagan for a bit and would pray to mother and the Father. God made it very clear to me that I can't serve two masters. Anyway, when I was a pagan the song Take me to church was a favorite of mine. Now I try to only listen to gospel and worship music. God opened my ears to a lot of the stuff that I was missing or not hearing in secular music and needless to say I didn't want what they are selling. Anyway, God bless and keep making music and singing praises to the Father in Heaven.
