Running Fast and Swinging Hard! - Master Striker on River - Gears 5 Horde Frenzy 5-22-2021

So...I really like Striker nowadays. Operation 7 made them a darn fun class through and through!
Only downside I got is that they're an expensive class to really get going on Frenzy. Money for the Breaker Maces (and if those maces break), weapons lockers that the engi needs to build for Striker, and then most of the perks are pretty useful. It's easy to spend all the power on your Striker lol.
But when you do, the bleed damage is incredible, the movement speed with the new passive is fun and helpful, the stim is great. It's just a fun as hell class!

I've been playing as a striker for a few weeks already and I like to run with a longshot for distant enemies and a mace to deal with close ones or heavies. But mace is not always the way out cause it gets destroyed very fast and usually I don't get a locker of my own. If you deal with a lot of tough enemies most likely your mace would melt so easily that you won't be able to stay alive. And it's a great shortcoming of a mace - it's gone ones you lose all ammo but you can restore it with just one ammo box, thus taught me to be very attentive to mace ammo and reasonable usage.

Not sure if you ever noticed this, but when performing executions with chainsaws and bayonets your explosive melee card takes effect. Probably a glitch... like those are hard to find in here. 😋.

Hey cherry how do you feel about the striker? I find it a little funny how the promotional classes can deal more damage with certain weapons than other class that are meant for that weapon. Like how on slugger with that one card that increases all ballistic damage by 60% and add piercing to your bullets. Plus that damage perk with 50% more damage plus the ult you can get a lot of the more powerful weapons to be a oneshot. Boltok with 110% percent damage is a oneshot on difficulties below elite which is crazy damage I haven't tested it on the higher difficulties yet but I'm sure It works pretty well.

I'm honestly having a lot of fun with Striker. The passive makes for a fun twist on the melee class by just being able to bolt anywhere you need to go, and the bleed damage is incredible. I'm so-so on how much the class costs to upkeep (especially with us having Power Drain on a lot for our Engi), but the bleed damage and stim is lovely. Also, I don't know how I feel about it being ANOTHER bleeding melee class, but hey judging it on its own merits, I'm glad they brought it to a much better place with Op7

@@CherryQuenchGearsofWar For me I am glad to see that they have shown more love for theses promo classes. I still feel Striker is the weakest class. I noticed you mention the bleed a lot, you do know that it only equals up to the Same for blademaster and protector?Which get it on any melee damage, another example of how they screwed over this class. There really should have been some other cards including longer range weapon perk to help this class be more viable for high level horde matches. Stim can only save you from so bullets while trying to run up to someone to melee before you go down.
