one thing that's not brought up about anchor is just the amount of excellent cards it has. so many good cards at it's disposal that's tough to pick only five cards.

I know no one will read this, but it's 2024 and I'm playing a lot of Horde Frenzy in Gears 5. I can't believe this hasn't been the standard since Gears 2 released back in 2008, or at least Gears 3 in 2011. I became disillusioned with the franchise because I never enjoyed Versus, though I wanted to play Horde in short bursts, but the developers said no. The 50-wave standard killed this franchise for me long ago; Who even has 3 hours to play every day? Or who wants to be stuck in the same map that long? Horde should have always been 20-minute long matches, I can't believe it wasn't like that until 2021.

Gunner is S+ in my opinion. Mainly because of the Stunning Explosives card. They make bisses like Matriarchs and Swarmaks irrelevant. If your team is down or death you can activate ultimate ans safely go to revive them or pick up their tags and revice them. The passive and the damage reduction perk makes you the tankiest of tanks.

Its an unbalanced pos. The whole reason you have perks in game to spend energy on is cuz they realized they made it too hard so they tried to balance it out with perks. Has to be the worst one in the series and I played Judgement!

I’d swap infiltrator and marksman around. Levels 40-50 on Master a skilled marksman can easily clear the field with 15 kills. With infiltrator he’s lucky to get 1-2 kills if there’s a skilled marksman above him.

I will never understand why people always spend all the money from the fabricator for weapon locker level 3, is it really most important thing to start the horde with? It’s the spikes and other fortifications needed at the beginning, because weapon locker won’t help you when they come too near you.

Part of me wishes they'd add relic weapons to the fab since gears 5 is done... but then i think about the relic retro and the relic Gnasher.... and yea... that probably wouldn't be a good idea😅😅

The best combo with mech turret is with anchor. Played ones with mech who put turret for me and I was just immortal under my shield and shredding everything around 😂

We haven't had a no reload daily in months

I always run Striker. The overkill and enforcer were always my favorite weapons but the enforcer would never best the hammer burst in my opinion. The fact how you go nuts with melee just amazes me.

Only thing I would change is putting tactician in highest rank. It’s so versatile and can make use out of so many explosive weapons to do insane damage. However the best I have found is using a salvo with ult on boss waves. Easy 600-700k damage consistently.
