I think the reason why the wine stopper is chibi-like is, as we all know, if it's an imagine of an angel it becomes an angel. So I think it's best to keep it chibi and non-angel like lol.

I never understood this:. The Angels were described originally as silicon based like firms, hence their stone appearance. So how come the Statue of Liberty (made of Iron and copper) turned out to be one?

@@chrisparkes2179 I don't remember if they explained this but if I remember correctly the angels learned hot or replicate themselves as long as it's an imagine of themselves. Like in the newest doctor who the drawings of the angels gained life and they entered the house. I think because the angels can be energy (as seen them going through the tv and even minds) that's how.

I’m not a doctor who fan at all but this is honestly the best quality “themed” calendar I’ve ever seen. I’ve been watching advent calendar unboxing’s for years now and truly for the price and the amount of days it’s wicked. The attention to detail and how usable each item is is awesome!

Watching from the complete 60 year old beginning is not going to grip anybody nowadays. It’s good for nostalgia and to see the origins of the show but rubbish for a hopping on point.

THIS is how you do a collectors edition box ! the items are similar to all the usual ones we see in these collections, but are so high quality and super original ! loved everything in this box. im also not sure how i feel about the chibi style stuff, some of it was super cute tho :D

Eccleston and tennant were my fave doctors (still are). I feel like Eccleston is very underrated doctor that no one really talks about, he was great!! I did stop watching a Matt smith but when I found out about Jodie, i did watch and I’m ngl I didn’t enjoy chibnall writing of it, it felt off….but….I will say the Rosa parks episode was good!! I am REALLY looking forward to seeing ncuti as the doctor 🙌🏼

So for fun, I priced each item as you opened it. Mostly guessing based on other items I’ve had or did a quick search for online. Assuming you could actually buy all this stuff. I came close to $200 😱 now of course the makers don’t pay retail but yikes what a good calendar! Plus you have to factor in the absolutely cool box and fun cards. What a lovely gift for a Dr Who Fan! 🧡🖤🧡

This calendar was amazing, and I do think that the bag is a glasses case as all the doctors were wearing glasses. I am a doctor who fan, though I admittedly haven't watched past the eleventh doctor; my favourite was Ten and I really enjoyed Nine. If I had to money, I'd probably buy this; love that they took reference from so many of the Christmas episodes for the Christmas advent calendar. Sad it's over, but have loved the 12 days of Advent series this year.

I think this is the best one you’ve opened, with the exception of having far too many pins, no one can possibly need that many. Yes it was expensive, but at least the stuff was reasonable and in some cases really lovely.

I absolutely loved this. This by far is my favorite from this year apart from the beauty ones. Everything was so well made and looked incredible. I'm not a big fan of chibi either & I don't like that a lot of fandoms due to large amount of chibi merchandise because it means I won't end up buying anything most of the time. I would definitely love to see you do more none Harry Potter fandom advent calenders. The beauty ones are amazing and this was so cool.

What great quality! Even though Harry Potter has my heart, Dr. Who Advent, box, and special little presents were high quality and loved that they included characters of the past and today. The socks and coasters were really nice. ❤️

I love the Doctor who TV show reboot series. So I was loving this advent calendar! I think you are right about the pins and other items that had the cartoon style Doctors, I think I would have looked better with real likeness of them.

More videos like this please Cherry! I'm glad you liked it, but unfortunately Eaglemoss (Hero Collector) went into administration earlier this year. Which means that this is one of the only advent calendars they produced (along with Star Trek and The Beatles ones) for Christmas 2021.

I think this is the first advent calendar I would say that’s worth the money. The Wizarding world advent calendars are just not worth the money for what you get. I would but this set just for the Tardis box alone. A range of well thought out unique pieces

With shipping this is a $106 calendar (edit: apparently it's on sale, normally it's more like $136), and if you're lucky you might net a $113 value from it. When you look at the prices on ebay for the various item (what's actually *managed* to sell) it's really more like $98. Imagine getting a singular sticker for an *entire day* of an advent calendar. They also keep using the chibi art for things like the pins in an attempt to be 'cutesy' but the real reason why is because the art is *significantly* cheaper to commission. This advent calendar is riding heavily on the inflated prices for the Doctor Who licensed items, but even then it's honestly terrible and looks like they went fishing on Wish to fill the calendar. Even the K-9 ornament is like a knock-off version of a better one you can buy. The TARDIS sandwich cutter is nice, but I can buy that for $1-3, and a full Doctor Who wallet - not just card holder - I could grab for $10. I can't honestly say I'd be excited for any of those items, especially the chibi-art ones, and that's a problem for a box that's over $100. It's almost like most of the cost went to the high quality box and expensive license, rather than the actual content. Your average Doctor Who themed nerdbox like Lootcrate is going to have more exciting stuff in it for half the cost, and you get it all at once, instead of opening a day and getting one singular cyberman clothing patch.

Hi Cherry, this video made me feel nostalgic. Doctor Who was a big part of my childhood growing up, still love the show today. My favourite Christmas special is Voyage of the Damned. I loved the coasters and the socks, also the Tardis box looked amazing, are you going to keep it?. Loved the video!

I'm not especially a fan of Doctor Who but I caught a few episodes on tv and quite enjoyed them so I actually got some of the references in there! 😁 I thought the calendar was great, albeit a little too pricey. I don't especially like chibi merch either (although it can sometimes be cute depending on how they're done and on which items they are) so those were a bit of a miss for me as well. But I really loved the socks, the Christmas decoration, the sandwich cutter and the coasters! Anyway, thank you very much for these 12 days of Advent series, it was awesome! I'm going to miss having a new video to see everyday 😂

I love Doctor Who! I'm in the Doctor Who Italian Fan Club and usually cosplay as Donna or Amy! I loved many items from this calendar, some instead weren't exciting, especially the chibi style ones, I don't like much that style, otherwise is such an original calendar! But 109 is a bit to much as a cost for me. Love to know you're a DW fan!!

Nice quality overall. I love the K-9 ornament, the TARDIS box, the Dalek opener and socks. If I had this, I'd give the Dalek items to a good friend who loves them. Those coasters are well designed.

My favourite items were the Dalek socks, the Dalek bottle opener, the Tardis luggage tag, the Tardis cookie cutter/ sandwich cutter, the incredible coasters, and the playing cards. If they did Harry Potter calendars of this high quality, my bank account would cry. I have loved your 12 days of Advent, I watch them all everyday and they were all amazing except for the Cinereplicas advent calendars, they were horrible.
